Many good films came out last year.
Most I have yet to see. Personally I cannot remember a better year for movies ~recently.I'll lead off with one film I just finished watching. It was marketed poorly in the U.S.
we don't appear to know how to handle such films. It is billed as a romantic comedy. I found it to be an often tragic, yet entertaining piece about family. European in direction, casting, and flavor; it often has spoken Danish w/subtitles. Don't let this throw you off.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1854236/ Pretty boy Pierce Brosnan is the lead, in name only. Danish actress Trine Dyrholm, steals the show, but, there are many, many fine performances. Acting is great.
TRAILER-Love is All you need And the cinematography/ photogenic Italian coastline are fab.

Great idea to add a trailer Ellynlvx. And I did so for Love is all you need ^above. All the trailers were terrible, the best one was from The Guardian, so posted it.Your movies have a  theme, and the Strange fruit, Still Crazy one I missed, and it's from 1998. Definitely look for that one, full of great people, and Bill Nighy too! Café: I tried that one. and got bored, maybe because JLH is in it...not a fan. Roadie also looks right up my alley. I'll look for that one.

I'll watch any Shia LaBeouf movie...I even tried the Transformers movie. but that I didn't finish.  Lawless Is about prohibition era moonshiners. And is great! [2012] Great cast, too. IP: Logged |
