It starts Sunday at 10 pm EST on Showtime. Showtime is celebrating by offering a free weekend, so people can catch the show. IP: Logged |

Oh! I'll have to find showtime, on my cable service. I started to watch this online, but I hate that, and ended up not paying attention. I don't have Showtime, but might catch the rest online, if it interests me enough.IP: Logged |

What is it about? Wonder if Netflix will have it? Sounds like a take on the old Penny Dreadfuls of the Victorian age. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_dreadful IP: Logged |

I watched the first episode last night. I'm not sure ------ but I'll give it a few episodes to see what happens. I'm sort of tired of the Jack The Ripper, Frankenstein, Dracula, Van Helsing, Mina, etc. stuff in general. It's SO overdone and cliche. I've read Dorian Grey will also be a character. Seems very "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". BUT BUT BUT
I love a lot of the actors in the series and Showtime does a great job with their high-quality series. So we'll see how it goes. IP: Logged |
