I have one period in History in which I am utterly fascinated and can read and read about and never get tired.

It is Henry the 8th and the wives. I am bored with most other history except the Birth of Israel and it's history but other than that, I find history boring.

What about you? What period(s) in history do you like?

Argh...Henry VIII. Did you know that he was very stinky, stinky to such an extent that the hallway next to his bedroom was not walk-on-able anymore? And did you know that Anne Boleyn allegedly said that he was not capable of satisfying women? That means he must have had a wee....

I too like this period (incl. the period of his daughter). I like the period beginning with Louis the fourteen till 1770. I don't like the French Revolution. I like the romantic era (1850) and I "like" the Holocaust. This period really keeps me interested.

Some periods of the Middle Ages are attractive to me as well.

All in all I love history

I was obsessed with the Victorian era for a while, I still am if I catch myself watching something or reading something about it, I just can't stop! Lol the fashions fascinate me & the lives of the servants of the wealthy. I bought this book "not in front of the servants: a true portrait if English upstairs/downstairs life. I found that stuff profoundly interesting for some reason.
