Admittedly, this was a lame season, but WOW, what a great competition episode last week! They really brought their A game!

I do. I chose Caleb way at the beginning.
I'm pretty good at picking the winner, so I have my fingers crossed.

In a way the show isn't as good as it was, but in other ways it's even better bc now the contestants (excluding Caleb) play an instrument as well as sing. I also like how you can vote more times, even though I only vote once, the idea that people can vote for their favorite up to 50 times seems like it will motivate the contestants to do appearances and interviews and things to rally their fan bases. Plus I like the addition of Harry this year. He's tough but he's also fun. That's been missing since Simon left.

Nope. It should have ended seasons ago. This show was on when I was about 8 can't believe it's still on :O I don't know but the show has sort of lost it's appeal to me...

I think the problem with reality shows like id is that the winner of the show does not really get famous later on. It's like they have one album maybe a tour a hit and then years later you don't hear anything from them. The only successful one to me was Kelly Clarkson. First winner and she's still at it

That finale was so good with them all singing Fleetwood Mac. I loved it.
Jlo singing about her 4 loves...errr not so much.

I think Caleb was a great choice. As was stated on the American Idol page on Fb, never has a rocker won the competition, although some should have, such as Adam Lambert.
Plus Caleb (I like that name too Charm!- I am a sucker for biblical names in general tho) is a bit older than Jena, and has applied to the show before, so I feel it is his time. Though I have no doubt that she will become famous too.

I see former Idols in a lot of things.
Not only Carrie Underwood, but what was the first idols name? Kelly something...

And I just watched a movie with Jennifer Hudson in it, she has done very well.
And my favorite idol, Phillip Phillips has been on tour ever since he won.
