Jeeeeeez
If you live in an area that gets storms, be careful.
We've been getting hit bad. I'm kind of used to it but it's still pretty crazy. Barbiegirl19 is not used to this. She gets scared.

But we've had lots of rain and straight line winds of 75 mph.
A building collapsed and killed one guy. Lots of trees down all over. Several at my friends house. One ALMOST fell on my sister's house - it got her porch.

Then just now I see a report that two teens were swept into a storm drain. One got out, they don't know how and the other is still missing - looks grim.
It's shocking. I've never heard of that happening. I can't imagine the things that went through their mind, The family, etc.

I never took those flash flood warnings too serious but wow... We all should.

Roads are washed out with wrecked vehicles in them. It's pretty crazy.

I grew up around them so I've always been pretty fearless... Lightning and everything but be careful. Don't mess with mother nature.

Last year we had people hiding from a tornado in storm drains that went to the N Canadian river and they all drowned.

Never go inside a storm drain during a storm and be wary of drainage ditches, too. They could fill with water.

And do not go under an overpass they become wind tunnels.

I hope you two have your severe weather safety plan figured out and in place. I just got an underground tornado shelter here.

A lot of times you will see virulent Thunderstorms when Planets go Stationary and change Direction.

That's what I fully expected to find in Linda's chart, and I did.

It's why I chose one date over another, that and the afflicted Libra she often mentioned.

Thanks for moving it. I should have known.

We somehow escaped it all. Where I lived for 35 years was hit bad. But everyone I know is safe.
The missing teen is a 17 year old boy. His friend, also 17, went after him when his friend was sucked in. The second one lived but went roughly 9,000 feet and was spit out into a lake. Still haven't found the first though.

Glad you all are safe!

We have had some doozies here this spring as well. A lot of damage and bed shaking thunder but no one hurt .

Is anyone else`s temps running below normal this season?

I hope everyone who's in the Midwest is okay! We're experiencing crazy rain here and horrible flooding in our city.

Prayers go out to all of you, be safe.

I swear, golf sized hail causes as much damage as actual tornados.

Tornados in MI, Conn. and Mass? Yowsers.

2O14, the summer that wasn`t.
