Living in a country where petrol prices are exorbitantly high, you should be thankful for just how cheap petrol is in the U.S.The following website is listed from the 17th of November 2014, where the average is $1.23 per litre of petrol. In the US, the average is $0.83 so 40 cents cheaper than the world average, cheaper than places like; Egypt, Taiwan, Mexico, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Brazil, China, Russia.
Canada is $1.20 so 37 cents more expensive than the US. I admit I have always found it odd that the majority of people in the US, including all of my family, are upset with gasoline prices. When you look at it in a global context, you are very fortunate to have petrol so cheap
