Washing won't affect the properties of either one, so it's okay. Aluminum and copper don't rust, but they corrode. The purple plates are anodized, so that prevents corrosion. Copper will corrode over time and turn green, which is normal.IP: Logged |

I wash mine often  I also let one soak in a gallon of water to water my house plants with!

I have no idea. I wear the bracelet every day and I don't wash it, as I don't want to make it green. Is there any other way to purify it? Does it need purification at all?
I used the plate on my throat as I had an ache, and it was gone the next day. But it is supposed to reduce the pain after 20 minutes, so I don't know if the plate "worked". Perhaps it did. I wonder how the plates affect us in the more subtle realm of the psyche. Does anyone have any experience in that? I have more experience in that side of mental-emotional-energetic work with stones. I know I'm definitely ready to purchase a new one. I end up giving them away for healing purposes. For instance It absolutely helped my mom when she was in the hospital, with a lung ailment. I had her sit up and I situated the purple plate under her affected side- and her condition began taking a turn for the better after that. I use to love placing it under my water glass (red) and letting it soak up solar rays outside for awhile. I know for many water is just water, but it certainly made a difference. It would taste like water one would gather out of the freshest mountain stream. Refreshing and energizing.
