Anybody else on LL currently pre-med?I'm preparing to start this journey in the fall. I've always wanted to be a doctor. I just recently found my courage and self-confidence to take the first steps towards fulfilling those goals. I had an eye-opening realization that if I don't kick my butt into gear, I'm going to be really upset with myself that I didn't go after what I wanted. (Thank you, Saturn, for head-butting my MC.) I have 6 months of saving as much money as possible, this summer shadowing a physician, countless volunteer and research hours, and 2 years of insane studying ahead of me. (For now.) Let's all have LL-sized meltdowns together.  IP: Logged |

At one time in my life I looked into becoming a doctor. I was very interested in neurology (decades ago!!). Thing is, I wouldn't have been able to do all that sleep deprivation... IP: Logged |
