Thank you. I hadn't seen this.

It's still sinking in. I've been in denial, for the most part. I did *not* want to go to the funeral, but finally got myself together just in time. The anger stage hit me right around that time.

I'm still getting my head around the fact that she really isn't coming back. It isn't like before, where she'd still be there the next day, no matter what was happening. My sister being here has been good (I wasn't sure what to expect), and it's going to be worse when she leaves. I'm seriously depressed.

Teasel ... Grief and angers come in waves, and it will be a process you go through for years. Let them fully do their cleansing and healing work in you. It's good, and that's what it's designed to do in you. Each time you have an episode, you'll find after a while, that you've grown better in some way inside. This will help your outer life.

As we grow inside, things transform on the outside. Eventually, you'll see things on a whole other higher level of perspective. This can provide you with a sense of standing on a more solid platform for the next stage of your life.

Holidays and anniversaries can be tough. Knowing this in advance will help you position yourself so you can self-care.
