What's going on?

Was there another rumor panic? Last Halloween was also low-key (though much livelier than this one) because of a rumor panic about it being the 666th Halloween in history, and some people were spooked by that.

I wonder if playing children will be phased out of Halloween completely.

And yet, I find it hard to believe that all the candy and costume businesses would allow that to happen (and is Jerry Kimmel still encouraging parents to troll their children by pretending to eat their Halloween candy?)...maybe Halloween will come back in a big way next year.

I was supposed to go have fun with my close friend and her boyfriend. We went driving around and had fun at first, but then they started fighting and we ended up doing nothing instead. For some reason, today might have influenced that somehow, especially since I was there the whole time during their fighting. A bunch of serious underlying issues in the relationship just blew up and forced themselves out. Then again, Moon in Scorpio with Sun in Scorpio can do that.

I wonder if there's some sort of important meaning to this, especially since it was on Halloween. I kept thinking that yesterday's full moon should've been today though.

One lady here (who really goes 'all out' for Halloween and other holidays) gives out the BEST little cute packets of Quality candy assortments! She stated she went from 140, to 40, to 1 visitor last night.

And I was the one who directed that visitor to her-- a woman taking her 2 year old child around in a stroller. ... Oh too? I guess I can say that I was her second visitor. LOL.

We talked about past Halloweens. I had had my own apartment in this 'hood ten years ago. The last Halloween I went full-blast on, I had dressed as a witchy Exorcist, carrying this huge buge bible and thumping the 'evil' characters with it. ... I am a riot in a costume! ... The kids all 'knew' that I am a Christian lady, and that I really do love the Lord. ... I used to be a whole lot more serious about Halloween, taking my children to Christian versions of Hallelujah Nights.

But I don't have children of my own anymore, and I love ALL children. If the younger ones want to play 'pretend' characters and have the thrill and surprise fun of knocking on doors and 'playing'?, then I'm going to indulge their fantasy. This world is SAD enough. We need to lighten up and include some PLAY and some cross-Celebrations.

The Christians have no right to shut down Halloween, as the Christian-haters have NO right to shut down Christmas celebrations at holidays. This is a howling disgust (note the halloweeny howlllling???? LOL).

We NEED to respect other culture's sub-holidays. Period.

So, my thought on THIS UN-Halloween celebrating, would be that there are DANGEROUS people in this world now.

You don't know what some are capable of doing as they're creating the goody bags.

And, if someone comes (close to adult size) and points a gun and looks evil, then you don't know if that (plastic) gun they are holding is real, and what their intentions are.
.. If you're NOT a gun enthusiast, HOW can you know and tell the difference between a fake gun, and a real one? --- If you're holding up someone using a 'fake' gun, (even if it's a finger in your pocket), then it's deserved-karma if a homeowner/storeowner pulls out their real weapon and shoots them down (imo).
.. I JUST don't understand how in courts criminals get away with SUCH light penalties 'just because' it was a play-gun or their fingers they were using--- that's UNfair?
.. If it was 'real' in YOUR own mind, and you were terrified and traumatized in the event, then the judge should rule it as though it was an ACTUAL event and threat, and give the perp FULL penalty AS THOUGH that faked-weapon WAS real. This needs to be looked at from the victim's belief, NOT the criminal's. (I'm venting a bit here, because there was a home invasion in the region last night with two people who lost their REAL life.)

And going on....

What we "could" be seeing is the end of public displays of private belief systems? "Age of Aquarius???" means Cold and Detached. Emotionless. Robot. No natural life-- synthetic, technical, no vegetation, all metal-pipes, gray factory-industrial looking.

I mean, think of how the décor has changed now.... It's no longer 'warm, inviting, nurturing and cozy'....

There are innovative new machines in the nurseries, rocking your infant in their little bed (kind of 50s Skinnerish?).

No human bonding. No holding a child to the softness and warmth of your breast and making eye-contacts. No, we pump now, instead-- if they don't use manufactured formulas. ....

We have waves of generations now of kids/grown-ups with actual detachment-disorders.... I think that's part of the autistic rewiring now. We're raising generations on The Robot (devices) instead of natural family human personal interactions.

Soon, the detached-world COULD become 'the new norm'-- People who like intimacy fun and relating to PEOPLE directly will become the Divergents in Society.

Before I saw your thread this morning, I was thinking of a certain religion (JehWit) who ban celebrating anything (I don't know if they even celebrate someone's birth day?).

Instead of trying to "ban" all belief systems in this country, especially-- and with realizing that we face the consequences of TOO much 'detachment'... we need the corrective balance of going the other way for a while, where we INCLUDE the celebrations of all.
... (I will add here, WITH certain WELL THOUGHT out exclusions, like KKK groups and Nazis should not have permission in a grand public way. The direct-consequences are PROVEN for the torture and killing of groups of people--- please no arguments about other religious beliefs--- ((but oh gosh, I'm thinking about the CRUDE BOORISH Christians who crash funerals, etc. .... We NEED Good Discernment, IF we were to 'temporarily' hold some types back-- it has to be PROVEN beyond doubt that they do their activity WITH Ill-Will... They are not proving anything Good, by what they do-- INCLUDING not being Christ-like!.)

I think EVERYONE 'knows' what I AM saying there. IF a restricted-group wants to say they are 'changed'? then let them EARN their way BACK into good favor of general society.
.. Right now, these are HARMING the Goodwill on this planet.

No.... In a way we are perhaps actually SEEING the kind of world that Paul McCartney spoke of in his songs about Imagine, and his promoting God as dead.

When you take Inspiration out of this world, when you strip society of Art, Beauty, Celebrations, displays of Joy and Harmony and Goodwill--- then you have just LOCKED-DOWN the ability to be really truly Human, and the 'bots and techs triumphed.

We perhaps, as Humans, crossed some lines... which instead of enhancing Good, promoted grievous loss.

Can we bring Imagination where IS Celebration and Play, BACK into the Human Experience.

Time... and Awareness, and Change-Ability will determine if all the kinds of Lights go out, ultimately.
