In one of the latest Firefox updates, a rather annoying thing was added. Whenever you first type your Username and Password at LL, it tells you the site is not secure. You can ignore that pesky little nuisance. What it is saying is that LL isn't a "https" site, but that doesn't matter, because encrypted data isn't needed here. You aren't putting in credit card info. Thankfully, it stops once the cookies take over and automatically enter your Username and Password, because it can really get on your nerves seeing that message block the fields.  IP: Logged |

The new Firefox update does this when you input passwords at a site without https protocol. Anytime you enter credit card info, always make sure the URL begins with https.IP: Logged |

I thought we may have been hacked once several years ago, which resulted in the deletion of members, but it was probably not a hack. It was more likely to have been a glitch with the database. But either way, it was prior to us getting a firewall. Aside from that, we've never had any security issues. SPAMbots do spider us searching for email addresses, which is why posting e-mail addresses is prohibited.IP: Logged |
