I can't really say as it's not something I do. But I've heard good things about cloudinary . And generally speaking, the black hats and criminals are going to use other ways to get at you, like pretending to be someone other than who they claim to be. They can "spoof" or fraudulently claim to be from Microsoft, Amazon, a credit card company, Facebook, etc) to get your personal details like passwords. They don't do this on their own, they send out little "robots" that place their hooks wherever they can and when someone nibbles by providing the information then it automatically forwards that info back to the criminal who can then use it. Once they have your information then they can do a lot with it through a variety of means to learn even more. Even computer companies that should know better tend to fall for their bluffs, and many people are easy to guess...for example, if a person's birthday is on December 25, then there's a good chance their code to their credit cards (and many other accounts) is 1-2-2-5. Though they have other clever tricks to get it when the credit card owners don't make it that easy for them, though plenty will go where it's easiest rather than spend a lot of time on the harder nuts to crack...as a common saying goes, you don't have to run faster than a bear chasing you to get away, just faster than the person next to you. There's one thing I want to warn you about as I figure you'll likely fall for this. Some of these creeps will send out automated emails that claim to be seeking help or wondering who you are and why you keep sending them pictures or something along those lines. DO NOT TRY TO HELP THEM. It's a trap. To respond in any way will, at best, put you on a sucker list that will drown your account in spam (and some of it with more malware or criminal purposes sent your way). You will not be helping anyone (as that person doesn't even exist), nor will you be "rewarded for good karma." You'll be marked as a sucker and taken for all you're worth. The people who do these things feel no shame, and sometimes even take a perverse pride in the evil they do. IP: Logged |

I'd forgotten, there's also pinterest. I hear you can't do as much as you can with photobucket, but I expect it's enough for most (and it's still free). Here are the instructions for it:

But nope; it is sadly not a joke.

Also even after reading Imgur's terms of service I am still not clear about them

However this seems to be for posting of personal pictures and no others.

I do NOT need picture storage for personal pictures. I keep them on my computer or on a card or chiclet or disc. I only need a place that hosts other pictures or the rare times I do post actual pictures I have taken so that I can post the pictures like here at LL.
So basic storage places are worthless for me.
I do not see a need to store pictures on line that I will rarely or ever post publicly.IP: Logged |

I ment imgur. I don`t post personal pics very often. I saw a forum this week defaced by the repeated meters over it. ------------------
