Now.... On the bus, we had been prevented by construction barricade from stopping at my usual stop. Bus took a detour, left people out further down the road. I had to walk UP to that intersection.

AS I stepped up to the red light to wait, I had this lucid moment. I felt clearly impressed to pray the "Hail Mary" prayer. It had been years since I'd prayed it.

Hail Mary, Full of GRACE, The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and
Blessed is the Fruit of your womb-- Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners...
Now, and AT THE HOUR of our Death, Amen.

I was prompted to say it again. Then to pray the Lord's Prayer (The Our Father).

Things sorta felt surreal ..... like Twilight-Zone.

I crossed as the light turned Green. Went a bit further into the next block.

Heard sirens, ambulances, fire truck.
Traffic came at a total standstill for several hours.

Wound up that it is possible that were I AT the bus stop I WOULD normally unboarded, then walked a distance to THAT crossing light, I might have been struck by a car. A man in a vehicle had had a 'medical' event, turned his car at that intersection, crossed the sidewalk at that corner, and crashed into the side of the building there... He died, and he struck a pedestrian waiting to cross.

I 'would' have been standing there WITH that pedestrian?

I wondered if that soul who had the medical event had been raised in the catholic-tradition, and I was used as a channel right then, to help his soul at a moment of disorientation and Crossing-over.

One of Mary's Messages, was to Pray for Peace for the World (which in history was World War? ... given to the children of Fatima?)

What a better time, than NOW, with our World on the brink of possible NUCLEAR War, to be Reminded to Pray for Peace... at a critical hour for humankind, the possible sickening of entire human race, AND the planet itself-- rendering it hostile to human existence. Shortening our time on the planet.

I spent weeks of time living with my Libra grandmother (mom's mom) as a small girl.

Every single morning, we would dress-up and walk down the road to church, to go to Daily Catholic Mass... And in the evening at sundown, she would have me kneel beside the bed with her, to pray the rosary each and every night.

(It was a pledge she had made as a young tweener to her dying mother, that she would pray the rosary every single day of her life... She diligently fulfilled that promise. I was beside her... I could 'sense' the Grace and Anointing of The Spirit. I think that's where I 'learned' the difference in sensing God's Presence during prayer. Sometimes it can come VERY quite strongly. Feels like warm honey to the skin.)

Of course toooooooo, I went to RC Parochial Schools. Walked as a petal-throwing flower girl in the Processionals. Did my share of slips and falls in the aisles of the church, sliding at times on the smashed juicy petals!! LOL

I love the smell of chrysanthemums... Reminds me of those days! ...
