During the 4-ish years I was here, I would keep a lot of notes on subjects and wanted to once be able to share all of that with others. That time has come now and I have begun a Youtube channel. It is still very new and I'm still very much getting used to the medium as a youtuber, but I've been enjoying it.

There aren't many views yet, though I promote it on my Twitter as well. Would people be interested to check it out? Then I'll post the link.

I have been planning to do card readings on there as well, there's a 'pick a pile' style on youtube that's very popular that I wanted to try too.

Don't know for sure what's the rule about promoting your own astro sites. When I used to be here, I would sometimes see people post about it in Astrology 2.0 but not sure if that's still how people do it here. So I just picked this subforum for now.

Suggestion?
If you were able to have the microphone up 'closer' to your mouth/head, it might help with understanding your words?

The way it is now, the whole-of-the-sound seems afar off, and the microphone is picking up as much room-noise as your voice. Right now, I couldn't understand all of the words you were using (because of the mic?)..
(I listen with good Bose speakerphones.)

Mirage, hi, ok good thing you pointed that out actually. Did you watch it with earphones/headphones? Someone else told me it creates a pretty loud buzzing sound which then isn't helped if I'm sitting far away from the mic. I tried fixing that in my last video.

Ok so the mic is built in my laptop so I can try to just put it closer to me when recording? Ugh I hate the environment noises too. Very noisy neighbourhood, but again I can continue playing with the volume when editing the videos. And sit up closer.

No I totally believe the noise from traffic can make it hard to watch. Thanks again. Yeah, especially when new it pretty much has to be near-perfect (or through lobbying to people you know). It's still something to get used to for me!

Ahhh thanks, that's mostly a lot of skincare that I know works for my skin. It's very sensitive so I have to take good care of it.

Yeah I would probably have to buy it. I don't think any of the earphones I have at home have a mic. As for singing... I had lessons when I was 14-15ish. Haven't really done that much anymore. Does that help with anything?

I have my Sun on the SN. Nothing on my NN but some conjunctions to the ruler. It's something where I understand rationally what I need to do for my NN, but don't really know how or put it to practice.

I have been very busy and just struggling to find inspiration the past few weeks. And trying to adjust things with the sound on my computer see if it can take down some of that buzzing. So I am intending to come back soon. It's ugh hard to be satisfied with the videos.

From what I've seen she did great doing the video with her phone but that's got to suck. It's true that scams/virus emails are getting smarter and smarter, with more tricks to get around the basic stuff like the 'don't give personal info' or 'don't click a random link'.

I even had a scare because I clicked a link in a 'professional' email that I wasn't paying proper attention to (super tired, just scrolled, missed the key signs). Lots of virus scanning etc after that.

It says nothing about how smart or how not smart you are!!
