After 12 years, Im sad to see the series end.So much laughter and fun to look forward every week.

The finale started out slow but the end had me in tears. Great job of writing, producing and acting.

Any other devotees watch it?

I LOVED that show!!! .. and thought it was sooo cute that they are handing this over towards the newer Young Sheldon series, with themselves as kids, growing up to 'meet themselves' in the future?? Ha!! how sci-fi and retro!!!

Reminds me of shows in my younger days, when the regular adult-Flintstones cartoons began the 'baby Flintstones' series of cartoons.

It's a "generational" thing?? {pun intented}

Aw Mirage, you didn't see the finale 😣

Did you watch Young Sheldons last of the season program? I really enjoy that program too.

They chose the perfect actors to play the family. Especially Georgie lol.

I just wonder how long it will last now that Big Bang is done.

I did see it, Juni.
Loved it!!
(Nice surprise to see the Wolowitz children!! awww)

I was also watching Young Sheldon show that would follow Big Bang-- the two finales fit hand-in-glove.

There was a 'behind the scenes' report about Big Bang after Young Sheldon.

The Young Sheldon finale made a bridge to Sheldon's interest in striving to win the Nobel Prize some day that adult Amy and Sheldon received at end of Big Bang.

Flashed on each one of the characters of Big Bang AS their child-selves, around the time of y.Sheldon's dream to win the Nobel Prize some day.

I could see Big Bang being 'continued' by watching each one of the adult characters growing up in their interests, to finally meet each other in the future.

Big Bang took 12 years to develop.
I could see Young Sheldon taking over with 12 more years of episodes, that grew the characters to become the adults of Big Bang.

Both shows are excellent in how they 'matched' before and after characters.

In Young Sheldon, the older man professor scientist who took an interest in MeeMaw and Shelly, winds up that he has been known by his peers in the scientific community as having some kind psychotic episodes from time to time.
So? Perhaps Young Sheldon will be taking up this theme about geniuses, with forms of mental illnesses too.
I think it's fabulous-- serious, and responsible too.

Great creators behind those shows.

If they keep young sheldon long term, they will have to write in georges death . Recall sheldens grown up talk with his mother, thanking her for all her sacrifices she made after he died to keep his advanced education ongoing.
That will be one heart wrenching show 😥

Oh, kripke? Yes, he is annoying but seldom appears. I thought you might have meant Mrs Wolowitz.

Exactly, Randall!! His use of nasal tone was exaggerated and used deliberately.

You see, 'Big Bang Theory' was NOT made to be interpreted as a "reality-based" TV show.

What was portrayed on the TV stage, with exaggerated personality traits, is what "professional actors" get paid to do. They create characters and "fake" personalities.

To create characters, an actor might/could change the pitch and internal-placement of their voice {e.g. nasal?}, along with other speech-pattern changes-- even to the use of a foreign or cultural accent!

Some TV personalities {like medical Dr. House} had to train themselves 'out' of their British accent, in order to sound like an American, in order to do an American-type character.

"Acting" in a TV show (non-reality TV), Randall, is a fake-situation. An actor does it on-purpose to 'exaggerate' certain traits or idiosyncrasies, in order to create a story atmosphere.

Each one of the TV shows we're talking about here, pull-on and exaggerate pieces of personality traits. Some could even be called "caricatures" (false, deliberately distorted stereotypes) to illustrate behavior traits of society's mores and folkways.
{e.g. the "nerd" personalities in shows mentioned above};
{e.g. or even the TV Show "Mom" -- based on alcoholism, addictions, and the resulting 'pain' this can cause in people's lives, families, groups; relationship dynamics.}

"Acting, Actors"
Watch the start of this clip-- Liza is in the wings behind curtain. Note her face. Then, she steps OUT, and everything changes. The character she was playing in Cabaret, picks up her own spirit, and entertains and lifts others from her talent 'on stage'.

lyrics
There's no business like show business
Like no business I know
Everything about it is appealing
Everything that traffic will allow
Nowhere could you get that happy feeling
When you are stealing that extra bow

There's no people like show people
They smile when they are low
Yesterday they told you you would not go far
That night you open and there you are
Next day on your dressing room
They've hung a star
Let's go, on with the show

The costumes, the scenery, the make-up, the props
The audience that lifts you when you're down
The headaches, the heartaches, the backaches, the flops
The sheriff that escorts you out of town
The opening when your heart beats like a drum
The closing when the customers don't come

There's no business like show business
Like no business I know
You get word before the show has started
That your favorite uncle died at dawn
Top of that, your pa and ma have parted
You're broken-hearted, but you go on

There's no people like show people
They smile when they are low
Even with a turkey that you know will fold
You may be stranded out in the cold
Still you wouldn't change it for a sack of gold
Let's go on with the show
Let's go on with the show
end of lyrics
.. USA 3-day Holiday-- Memorial Day Weekend.
Honoring those who have died to give us the liberties we enjoy; and picnic times with families.

Enjoy your Weekend Celebrations! *fireworks1*

I hope my post cleared up some of your confusion.

I consider all 7 main stars.
I never watched Rosanne so didnt know who.
Ive seen leonard on other shows and he didnt have the asthmatic tone. That asthmatic tone was leonards character style
