I didn't watch tv so much but I recently finished The man in the High Castle. My family got Netflix so I was exploring the shows, there are a lot. Does anyone have any series on Netflix they might recommend? I've seen Stranger Things. I'm just starting Altered Carbon and plan on The Witcher. Please share if you have recommendations or seen these. Thank you. IP: Logged |

I usually avoid the crazy shows, but friends want me to watch "Tiger King" so I'll probably be doing that soon. I need to finish The Man in the High Castle. I was watching that four years ago, but didn't get past the second episode of the second season (things going on at the time). I loved "The OA" - you might like that. They cancelled it last year, but the end of the second season can kind of work as a series finale, too. I'll try to think of more. IP: Logged |

Netflix is too expensive. We use cable and the shows available on it.IP: Logged |

Hi Teasel.thank you for your response. Wow, you are like I was with all those life distractions surrounding your finishing The Man in the high Castle. Tbh I myself very much pulled away from the dystopian meme entertainment. But after the lock down I really saw similarities that was happening that mimicked the series, the timeline jumping very much reinvigorated my interest. You still might like to watch it, believe me some of it ends well. I'm a trop triple Aqua so I really want the highest good and happiness for all living kind. My hubby was going to watch TigerKing. I'm not very into the descript of it. I hope you'll enjoy it I feel I should know what 'OA' is but not remembering what it is. Can you help me? I'll look into it. Did you ever see Orphan Black? It was edgy if you like that sort of series.

Mirage, I agree but my mother is an entertainment centric person, we are all together here and she got it. We never afforded cable tho. (The library dvd bluray was our goto or we simply lived with our antenna OA tv.(last yr hubby+I got Prime). Where I am it goes about $55+ and even with both prime&Netflix it's much lower. These days there are tons of options but seeking what fits each individual interests is the key to finding the best economic deal.

"The end of the **** *ng world"Its not at all about the end of the world, its about the love story of two atypical teens and their atypical journeys and it has dark humor, I found the two main characters very interesting. Also... "You are the worst" The last three seasons are even better than the first two, the show evolves in quality. Its a comedy also about an atypical love story and friendships. IP: Logged |

I liked Upload, on Amazon. I'm starting to catch up with everything, so Bosch will probably be next. I liked The End of the ******* World, but haven't seen season two. Still haven't watched Tiger King, although a friend insists that I should. IP: Logged |

Teasel, my hubby likes Bosch. I saw the trailer of Upload. That looked good. I might watch it this weekend. Thank you Teasel. Maybe you'll like TigerKing. I heard something about Nicolas Cage joining the cast. In our home streaming is tenuous. I think in neighborhoods it's like a shared system, then once my hubby is home, my mom and him watch seperate streams of Britbox and Acorn. My best chance for streaming is early morning , but I read too so I'm ok with this. I wonder if others have had limited streaming when in families in quarantine. IP: Logged |
