I often read people talking about members that used to be more active or that they used to connect with. I know that over the years members have left, however some have also just 'come and go'. I suspect many may still lurk and read.So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can either shout out or write a message to members we haven't seen in a while who may still be around in some capacity, but don't know they are missed! Off the top of my head, I always liked Gabby and Doux Reve's posts/energy, as well as Dancing Maenad. And Juniperb does not post anywhere near enough - I always enjoy them when I see them, which isn't often  IP: Logged |

Dancing changed her name and still pops in from time to time. Doux became a Christian and rejected Astrology. I will always remember the song she wrote about LL and played for us with her guitar.IP: Logged |

No, she deleted it soon after. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful. The song made people cry. Unless I’m mistaken, Dancing is Pearlty. She used to moderate Yellow Wax until recently, but she still pops in. IP: Logged |

I wish I'd heard it. So often it's the people with the biggest talent for something that doubt themselves. I hope she is still singing!I'll keep an eye open for Dancing. A forum is like a micro-world. All the different 'faces', coming and going, ebbing and flowing. Fighting and hugging, laughing and crying. I've only been on LL 9 years and it already seems to have had many different lives. LL is a Scorpio Sun though, right? So, guess that makes sense. Constant, unrelenting transformation. IP: Logged |

NO WAY. Asteroid Linda conjunct asteroid Goodman, Astra conjunct Venus in the 1st house  Talk about picking a good date!Also, LL's Linda and (at a push) Goodman conjunct my NN (22 Can). LL's Moon conjuncts my IC and LL Sun conjunct my Jupiter. That's weird. IP: Logged |

I'm an odd one to find an affinity towards long ago LL members, yet see they are gone. Somehow I am compelled by their past threads to want to converse, le 'sigh'. There have been wonderful minds & souls who have traveled these boards. ~ going to draw a progress synastry between myself and this chart of LL. ~ ~ my keybd is grrrr so I'm not going to further study this but it was fun while it lasted. At one time there was such a diversity of astrology students on here from the expert to the beginner, and some of the conversations were sooo in-depth and rich, you couldn't help but learn something! It's the old threads that make me nostalgic too. I always enjoyed reading LeeLoo and Faith also. I learned a lot just by reading their findings. IP: Logged |

Voix_de_la_Mer, The diversity may have been our experience then, it was allowed so much more. We as a world cultural have faced more restrictions on our thinking in the past few years. Flow of thoughts and ideas much more under attack and it is sad - I miss those who were free and deep thinking yo share, as the ones you mentioned, even ones from now I wish I could hug many but I feel sentiment is not same. I feel a cold wave here since I joined. The times are definitely a lot if why. Randall does an excellent job at keeping it going and there's a lot of good debating. Some threads I just enjoy watching grow, never to jump in. Sometimes my little mind feels too feble to attempt it. lol May we see more diversity here again. Sharing ideas and more fluidity rather than the rigidity that 2020 has brought much of. IP: Logged |
