Elvis! There was a member of LL who was a freak about Elvis. Haven't seen her around in a couple of years. I always think about her during this time of year. Her birthday falls on Jan 6th (I think?), The Feast of The Wise Men. Epiphany.
There's even an asteroid 17059 Elvis.

Elvis' birthday was Jan 8th.
Elvis had a Sagittarius Rising 12+

Hey, Same as you--
I have a Sagittarius Rising chart too! 11.30

What degree is yours?
Where is your Sun?

(music) I'll Be Home For Christmas (Elvis Presley, 1957)

"Elvis' birthday was Jan 8th."

Yo Tambien

Btw, (years ago) I did some digging into Elvis's chart, and came up with a spiritual birth time chart that gives a very late Taurus ASC (28 or so degrees) strongly cusping Gemini, with ruling Planet, Venus in very late Cap very closely cusping Aquarius, and very strong.

Fits his looks, personality, life patterns, etc much better. That particular set of Rising Sign factors would correspond with a rather good looking, charming, but kind of introverted body/personality. Before he got into drugs etc, he was a pretty kind, gentle, giving type person and again, not that super outgoing/extroverted which a Sag Rising would more so incline to.

He was also born a twin, which may correspond some with the Gemini strongly shading into his ASC and making up most of his 1st House.

Oh, and both Venus and/or Taurus often show up strongly in those gifted with really nice voices. In this chart, he has both highlighted.

Edit to fix a mistake (it's been awhile since I thought about this). Elvis's Venus was just barely still in Capricorn, almost in Aquarius. Had 10 minutes left. It's possible that he had very early Gemini Rising cusping Taurus. That would give Chart ruler conjunct Venus and Sun.

Priscilla had very early Gemini Sun cusping Taurus, and that would go along with her. I'll have to look at some major events/dates and see which fits better, very late Taurus or very early Gemini. Another EDIT: The Plot thickens. Elvis's mother Gladys, who he was really close to, was a Taurus Sun. Hmmm, but so far it's still a toss up between really late Taurus or really early, just barely Gemini, like either 29 degree Taurus or 0 degree Gemini.

(Btw, Elvis was not racist despite a persistent, pernicious rumor which was very unfounded.)

Sorry, being in a pandemic seems to bring out self's pedantic side.

Will share some songs in a bit. Don't think I have one single favorite song. It changes some with the winds and tides of feelings and attunement.

Funny that you mention that M.M.. I just downloaded Audacity for C.B. last night, which I didn't even know was possible.

This potentially opens up a lot of options for recording/audio for me, that are much better than the crappy system I had set up earlier.

I was literally playing music through my sound system and using my mic to pick up both the background music and my vocals--not a very good way to do it (can induce more distortion, etc). My previous MIC also sucked. Also have been learning more about how to fix issues with the vocal voice recording. Very beginning stages.

So yes, maybe. (smile) May even do some Elvis.

Hi Seraphinesky

Don't know that first song you mentioned, but do know the second (Helplessly Hoping). Very beautifully sad. Sounds like twin souls separated by fear.

Aries eh. I'm a Goat-Fish.

Btw, I took the songs out of my other post. They're not very good. One day when I learn what I'm doing, I will share some maybe.

I missed out on that GCE.
Maybe you'll get your apps/pgms or equipment
worked out. I look fwd to it. I think you might have a good voice btw. Capricorn does have talented singers, besides the King from Graceland.

I came back to say to *So little time* .. I'm clicking my heels. There's no place like home .. I wanna go home now. lol

Forgot my fave song because it's no easy answer. I love so many times. Here's one that popped in when I asked. http://youtu.be/t6CH9Tt-aSs

Some of these songs could be on the Mystical thread:

This song is one of those, that when I really listen to it, it makes me tear up almost every time. It reminds me of Source, the painful separation and then the joyous, transcendent reunion: http://youtu.be/gMNB8BqAJdY

http://youtu.be/u7iCICUrYQ0

Not a mystical song, but this song affects me for some reason: http://youtu.be/yrJ7CVeiFvo

And to balance it out with some dark: http://youtu.be/IS0hZadOboc

Hey MM. Nice and mellower version--haven't heard that rendition (previously speaking). Yes, agree that Gabriel has co-created a lot of good stuff, both with Genesis and solo.

He strikes me as a true Aquarius. A source I like once paid Aquarius a very high compliment and encouragement. In a reading for a teen girl born under Aquarius Sun who was experiencing psychic awakening and social difficulties, this source said something like, *Remember, thou art born under the same omens as her, mother of him, Aquarius-perfection in its perception.* And said mother, was apparently his twin soul according to this source.
