Newsflash: Americans won't stand for another lockdown. Period. It's not going to happen. Dems are scared about the mid-terms, and Covid measures do not poll well, so Covid is over. No one (not even most Dems) trusts that idiot or anything he says. Every variant gets milder. Omicron was very weak, and the Omicron subvariant is even more so. I take 'Fauci unmasked' now as an important metaphor with fulfillment coming. I don't see him as evil, just a careerist with great skill at kissing the right ***** and begging money from the right places as the King of Germaphobia. I'm no fan of Republicans, but the Congressional Repubs vowed to investigate Fauci if they regain control of the House, which they will do. I hope they make it more than just an investigation of Fauci or about personality battles. It needs to go deeper than that and many 'experts' need to be called in on the carpet to explain how they could get things so wrong. The social and mental health toll from Covid policies should also be added up as a matter of essential data and economics to put into the historical record. Personally, I want to see RFK Jr there to testify as he is the best summarizer of Covid disaster policies. Maybe he'll get through to some Democratic party loyalists who can only think 'vote blue no matter who', many of whom are still wearing masks walking around outdoors alone. I'd also like to see Dr. Peter McCullough there to testify — and all others stripped of their professional credentials because of Covid-related push back from the medical establishment. If Congressional Repubs do that, then maybe they will use their victory well enough for it to be worth it. If they don't do a well organized, thorough investigation and accounting for it all, then probably not. IP: Logged |

I still feel the same way. He tried to help us, but a portion of the country had to create a circus of lies. My nervous system hadn't healed from my own stuff in the previous few years, and this was just too much. I really wish I'd just logged off, paid attention where needed, and spent all of that time with my pets and my dad, away from the computer. IP: Logged |
