Careful about developing your Law of Attraction muscles, or accidents like this might happen, what is called Lucky Girl Syndrome...under 8 minutes (the rest is promo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD_10ulrr9w&ab_channel=Alexanderthetitan Heh. "You have to be delusional to manifest what you want." But then an argument can be made that we're all delusional in one way or another, especially as our animal brains can only process so much information that isn't sufficient to understanding reality.
I think beyond that...I've heard some disturbing ways that "Law of Attraction" have manifested. If it's a real power then it needs to be explored carefully, as well as more attention to minds also shaping reality on this plane and others (I think Castenada is popular in the new age community, he was even in the early 2000s when I mixed with many at a Unitarian Universalist church, and that author warned of dream entities that would try to trap people manipulating reality or shifting between them, as well as sorcerers who got trapped). And just maybe be careful about trying to pass long this "gift" to others who aren't ready for it.
Not that I intend this as a fable or PSA, just some thoughts on it, and why I thought of LL. If you like short scary stories then this might be right up your tunnel, er, alley. IP: Logged |

IIRC I think LaVeyan Satanism also has something similar to LOA, been years since I read The Satanic Witch though I do remember enjoying it much more than The Secret Nice vid, I like the horror elements! ------------------ You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

I'm not a fan of the secret. I temporarily got into it, with a couple of books, but it never made sense. Just find your happy place, and good things will come to you? But tonight, I remembered when I had verrucas on my feet, when we were in school. my sister had them, too. We'd been to the chiropodist, and they didn't go away, so she said they would have to be burned out. I was a coward, who didn't want to deal with that, but I had to. That morning, they were still there, still bad. By the late afternoon, when we got to the doctor's office, I took off my shoes and socks, cringed and shut my eyes in preparation, and they said, "There's nothing there." They were all gone. My sister's were still there, so she had to go through with it. It was so weird, and magical. IP: Logged |

The Law of Attraction works. The reason people think it doesn't is because they attract what they don't want--which is also the Law of Attraction.IP: Logged |

But I didn't ask my cat to have FIP. I didn't ask for my dog to lose his ability to walk, and to lose a lot of sleep, and faith in just about everything. My mindset didn't make my cat sick. IP: Logged |

You didn’t consciously ask for those things. Some of the most powerful attractors are fear and don’t wants. Whenever you say (or think) you don’t want something, you make it manifest. For just one example: When you think, “I don’t want to get a headache,” creation hears “I want a headache.” Need is another negative attractor. Desiring money is great. Needing it, though, will just create more lack. LOA is tricky like that. A friend of mine from law school was told her dog was dying and that it was incurable. She took responsibility for her dog’s health and realized she was poisoning her with commercial dog food. She changed her thoughts, and she was led to a raw meat diet that has cured her dog. Desire what you want. Don’t fear what you don’t want.IP: Logged |

Sorry, I don’t believe that. I’m in the ER right now, with my cat. IP: Logged |

I'm a lucky girl. No matter how bad it looks, I'll get what I want. Which is world domination. And to help, I'll use creative visualization and Law of Attraction to give me the power to strike down my enemies, and make especially horrible punishments for those who defy me, and so I'll hack other Lucky Girl's by making them lucky to die before I can impose the penalty for not bowing before me, as being captured by my Inquisition would not be lucky at all. With the power of my own mind, and another Inquisition to dominate the beliefs of others, I will RULE THE WORLD! And yet I won't be responsible for any of it, but those who refuse to accept the Vision greater than themselves to make the world a better place (that is, mine). Since I also want to coast, I'm also thinking of say when Vulcans landed before Cochran in that Mirror Universe, and he shoots them with his mob stealing their ship, without the Vulcans making the logical step to retaliate (or, for that matter, to examine the situation more closely before landing). Definitely take some Lucky Muscles to steal that alien tech to begin the Empire of Pixietopia that then goes on to conquer the aliens I plundered. I'm sure history shows that colonials end up getting taking over those who come (and not get sick), and since I'm sure, that's how it will happen.
Join the warriors, scientists, people of faith in my manifest destiny. Or else think good things will happen to you so that you die off before I can bother to send my Inquisitors after you.
I woke up this morning shouting, "UNLIMITED POWER!!!!" And I feel so much better already. Think how even more powerful I become as my Inquisition forces everyone else to believe I am God/dess! IP: Logged |

Though if it doesn't work, not all is lost. I can just use this for inspiration: IP: Logged |

Be very glad I was joking, because when this came up as recommended (no other Nightcore songs like it), I got the shivers as it wasn't long after posting the above: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJLsATQAJ_c&ab_channel=RubyChan%27sNightcore It feels as if the Universe (in Palpatine's voice) is telling me, "Do it!" My aunt sent me a few books, including You Can Heal Your Life, when I was getting beaten up and harassed in my home. I told her where to go. IP: Logged |

DISCLAIMER: This has nothing to do with teasel's post.Negative Attraction is powerful. I call it Law of Negative Attraction or LONA. Until you master avoidance of it, you will always get more of what you don't want, which people translate into "LOA doesn't work," while it actually means that LOA is working perfectly well.
