Do english speakers make a lot of spelling mistakes ?
Chat GPT answers "yes they do" to me but I don't believe it. I rarely see english spelling mistakes.

Probably not english mistakes in basic words.
In my country many people can't even make the difference between "it is" and "those". and between "is" and "and". that makes me angry. maybe they don't read a lot. I would say that 75% french people cannot even write correctly. at any age, younger like older people. in my family we write without mistakes
