So, I was posting in my "White House Apologizes for low flying plane thread" - or trying to anyway, and then the forum went on the fritz.

First it kept giving the a white screen and wouldnt let my post through. Then when the post finally showed up I noticed the thread I started was suddenly started by a "25" and the first post read: "11". And I opened the site in another window and couldnt get into GU.

Anyway, just an FYI. I'll post what I've saved in a bit. Anyone else got anything saved?

There's nothing a triple earth sign enjoys more than rebuilding from the ground up.

Thanks for being right on top of it Randall. Has LindaLand ever seen so many glitches??

Actually katatonic, I have a different take on what's happening at LindaLand.

We live is a reality based universe of definite cause and effect. Whenever those who are given to flights of fancy, those who live in their own little bubble world of unreality congregate in sufficient numbers, a balance is tipped and our reality based universe flings the entire collected works into an alternate universe.

Sure, that's throwing the real out with the unreal...babies out with the bathwater but the upside for the unrealists is that when all the things they've said here which are disconnected from reality suddenly appear on a computer screen in the alternate universe, they get worshiped as a gift from the Gods.

Yeah, I also noticed that after the site was brought back up that there was a lot of spamming. I don't understand why LL would be targetted but I don't think it's just random. I know nothing about computers or the internet but I really hope this kind of thing can be stopped.

well jw, we are in agreement again, about the screeching and whining, though i don't see it as exclusive to the leftists. those fox guys do a pretty good match for it. i prefer people who don't care for soapboxes myself...

and as to time warps, what was started in the 60s has developed over time. in the 60s i was NOT into flower power despite what you might think...but those ideas, barring the drugs, were not new then and they are not old now, but perennials...just like yours!!
