O'Bomber invites Americans to become confidential..or non-confidential snitches for O'Bomber.

Well, we knew it was just a matter of time before O'Bomber got around to telling Americans to snitch out their family, friends and acquaintences.

That's straight Marxist Communist doctrine...practiced by Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez and Ortega.

The question is....when is O'Bomber going to introduce Americans to re-education camps as proposed by O'Bomber's friend and associate, the Marxist Communist domestic terrorist bomber Bill Ayers?

White House's Call for 'Informants' Draws Conservatives' Ire
Posted: 08/4/09

Conservative bloggers and opinion leaders Tuesday expressed outrage over the White House's call for informants to notify it of "disinformation" regarding the health care debate.

From the White House Web site:

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end-of-life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain e-mails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an e-mail or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

On his radio show, Rush Limbaugh said,

"Well, I would hate to see what they're going to get now at flag@whitehouse.gov. I wonder what kind of e-mails they're going to get now. They're looking for tattletales; they're looking for snitches; they're looking for informants; they want their groupies to tattle on you if you happen to be telling the truth about what's in the health care plan. The White House has, as yet, offered no explanation of what it is they plan to do with the tips on policy opposition they hope to receive from citizen informers. Jake Tapper pointed out on Twitter this morning, the title of that post on the White House is a quote from John Adams' 1770 'Argument in Defense of the Soldiers in the Boston Massacre Trials.'"

Over at RedState, Jeff Emanuel wrote,

"The term 'disinformation' is used by the Obama White House as a catchall to describe any opposition to the president's push for single-payer, government-run health care -- meaning the White House wants to be informed of any forwarded e-mails or blog posts or any "casual conversations" that could be taken as opposition to their health care overhaul plan."

And TheNextRight's Jon Henke asks:

"What, exactly, does the White House plan to do with this information?"

The complaints came on the same day that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi charged that demonstrations against health care reform during congressional town hall meetings are organized by the insurance industry and conservative groups.

White House officials are anxious to aggressively rebut what they see as disinformation. At the same time, they should be cognizant that the use of governmental resources to do so risks making them look heavy-handed or even Nixon-esque (will this lead to an enemies list?)

One wonders how many of my posts have already been e-mailed to the good folks at whitehouse.gov. Perhaps we can add an app for that at the bottom of my posts? "Click here to inform on Matt Lewis . . ."

How interesting.

Those who feigned moral outrage that Bush was listening in on terrorist phone conversations from overseas ARE NOT IN THE LEAST OUTRAGED...that O'Bomber has a special website where Americans are implored to snitch out their friends, family and associates over opposition to his lame brained O'BomberCare legislation.

Neither are these phonies outraged that contained within the O'BomberCare bill are provisions to ration health care...deny services, gain access to all your financial records...including your bank account and a list of other outrages which any rational person would reject out of hand.

Oh yeah, one of those provisions prevent citizens from suing to protect their rights...and their lives.

It is interesting indeed to watch the O'Bomber Mushrooms...those kept in the dark and fed a steady diet of bullshiit defend the indefensible.

Is it sheer laziness which prevents O'Bomber's Mushrooms from finding what is front and center in O'BomberCare?

Or, are O'Bomber's Mushrooms intellectually incapable of connecting the obvious dots?

O'BomberCare is the single worst piece of intrusive legislation ever proposed in the United States...and O'Bomber's Mushrooms defend O'BomberCare.

O'Bomber's Mushrooms don't even so much as wonder why members of Congress are specifically exempted from the provisions of O'BomberCare.

Neither do they wonder how a bunch of congressional morons who have bankrupted Social Security, bankrupted Medicare, acquired a national debt which is the sum total of the entire Gross Domestic Product of the United State, morons who couldn't run their own congressional dining rooms, morons who couldn't run their own House bank, morons who couldn't run their own congressional Post Office...no, these Mushrooms don't wonder how these morons could possibly run about 17% of the entire US economy.

White House bashed for health care 'snitch' program
Senator says there's no precedent for citizens reporting 'fishy' comments
Posted: August 05, 2009
9:28 pm Eastern
By Bob Unruh

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, today demanded that President Obama either halt a program already widely known in the blogosphere as the "snitch" program or define how he will protect the privacy of those who send or are the subject of e-mails to the flag@whitehouse.gov e-mail address.

The White House announced the program only a day earlier, pleading with people around the nation to forward to the White House e-mail address anything they might see "about health insurance reform that seems fishy."

"I am not aware of any precedent for a president asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White house for pure political speech that is deemed 'fishy' or otherwise inimical to the White House's political interests," the Texas senator wrote in a letter today to Obama.

"By requesting that citizens send 'fishy' e-mails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, e-mail addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported… You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection system."

Obama, of course, utilized the Internet extensively during his 2008 campaign for the White House, collecting millions of dollar in donations through his online donation structure, and even now organizing political events through his e-mail list.

The White House announcement cited "opponents" of health care reform who may "find the truth a little inconvenient."

"Scary chain e-mails and videos are starting to percolate on the Internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to 'uncover' the truth about the president's health insurance reform positions," the website says.

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain e-mails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an e-mail or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov," the White House instructed.

Cornyn continued, "I urge you to cease this program immediately. At the very least, I request that you detail to Congress and the public the protocols that your White House is following to purge the names, e-mail addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in 'fishy' speech."

He said specifically the president needs to address how he intends to use the identities of those who are reported to him for having "engaged in 'fishy' speech."

Further, Obama should explain how he intends "to notify citizens who have been reported for 'fishy' speech."

Bloggers and readers were livid.

Wrote one observer to WND, "In my life I never thought I’d see this happen in America. What are they going to do with the information they get?? Pure terrorism."

Added another, "Why wait for a snitch to turn your name in, when you do it yourself and save them the trouble. It only makes sense."

A third reader simply sent a link to an online history resource that cited the use of informants during the prelude to World War II.

The e-mail quoted, "An ominous new development within the HJ was the appearance of HJ-Streifendienst (Patrol Force) units functioning as internal political police, maintaining order at meetings, ferreting out disloyal members, and denouncing anyone who criticized Hitler or Nazism including, in a few cases, their own parents.

"One case involved a teenaged HJ member named Walter Hess who turned in his father for calling Hitler a crazed Nazi maniac. His father was then hauled off to Dachau under Schutzhaft (protective custody). For setting such an example, Hess was promoted to a higher rank within the HJ."

Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, said, "I am shocked and dismayed that Barack Obama's White House is now monitoring e-mail traffic nationwide if it opposes his government takeover of healthcare."

Staver's organization already has analyzed the health care plan and confirmed it contains health care rationing, a national health ID card complete with government access to personal bank accounts, government decisions on what health care benefits are available and mandatory taxpayer support for abortion.

At RightSoup, a blogger wondered, "Now why do they need to see e-mails about someone’s opinions? And … are they too lazy to Google their own crap to see what web writers are saying about it? … Yes, they are. They want you to be a good little Red Shirt and turn those dissident terrorists in. 'Cuz Obama is real busy right now running this country into the ditch."

A forum participant on the site said, "This stuff could not be made up. It is a sign of a VERY SICK administration."

Radio talk show icon Rush Limbaugh chastised the president.

The White House has, as yet, offered no explanation of what it is they plan to do with the tips on policy opposition they hope to receive from citizen informers."

Cornyn said he also wanted to know "what action you intend to take against citizens who have been reported."

Further, "Do your own past statements qualify as 'disinformation'? For example, is it 'disinformation' to note that in 2003 you said, 'I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan'?" Cornyn wrote.

WND reported earlier when Staver condemned the health plan as worse than China's mandatory one-child policy.

The Liberty Counsel analysis said under Section 1308, the government will dictate marriage and family therapy as well as mental health services, including the definitions of those treatments, and under Section 1401, a Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research would be set up, creating a bureaucracy through which federal employees could determine whether any treatment is "comparatively effective" for any individual based on the cost, likely success and probably the years left in life.

It also, according to Staver, "covers abortions, transsexual surgeries, encourages counseling as to how many children you should have, whether you should increase the interval between children."

The plan would allow, in Section 1401, for the collection of information about individuals' health records, both "published and unpublished," and recommend policies for public access to data.

The Liberty Counsel analysis also pointed out the government would be allowed to ration health care procedures, prevent "judicial review" of its decision, tell doctors what income they can have, impose new taxes for anyone not having an "acceptable" coverage, regulate whether seniors can have wheelchairs, penalize hospitals or doctors whose patients require "readmission," prevent the expansion of hospitals and set up procedures for home visits by health care analysts.

Under Section 440, Liberty Counsel said, the government "will design and implement Home Visitation Program for families with young kids and families that expect children." And Section 194 provides for a program that has the government "coming into your house and teaching/telling you how to parent," LC said.

i'm having a hard time finding this announcement on whitehouse.gov.

oops, here it is
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/

not very nice, eh? not very noticeable without the link provided by the blogster either.

nice of them to give an address where you can tell them what you think of this kind of thing! i have just done so....here's your opportunity, jwhop!

and you are so right, it is ironic that the same people who deplore this felt it was totally okay for the bush government to spy on us SECRETLY. asking is not the same as doing, disgusting as it is. it's not like they can't find the stuff themselves!!

as to the "truths" you keep pushing about the healthcare bill, can't find ANY of those. and you can't be bothered to point anyone at them. good thing the thing is online where we can read for ourselves that (so far from what i have read) none of the panic cries bear much resemblance to the bill itself.

i'm still working on it. it's as long as gone with the wind...!

and you know, jwhop, since you have put me in the leftist camp, and all my friends whom you know so intimately, i want to assure you that not one of them would snitch on you or any other misguided beachcomber.

You call that "Snitching"? When you "snitch" on someone, aren't you saying that they did something wrong? Are you really going to stick to that term for it, because it implies concession that Conservatives feel they are wrong for their spreading of disinformation. It's practically an admission of the propaganda play Conservatives are making right now.

This is like an apples to oranges comparison. Not similar in the slightest. One is domestic spying outside of the public eye. The other is asking for information on a voluntary basis. You expect outrage at something asking something else for information it is not compelled to give in any way, shape, or form (no privacy breach whatsoever)? It's poor logic. Not linear.

Well, it's a given that Bush spied on terrorists making phone calls from abroad...and violated their US civil rights.

Oh wait, the FISA Court of Review sided with Bush...and said the President has the authority to spy, wiretap, follow, photograph, record and use other methods against foreign enemies which in his judgment are necessary for the national security of the United States.

O'Bomber has fixed that problem by requiring captured terrorists be read their Constitutional rights by FBI and Justice Dept lawyers....and thereby granting US citizenship rights to terrorists.

O'Bomber's latest edict is intended to stifle free speech...of those who disagree with his latest disaster...O'BomberCare.

Unfortunately for O'Bomber and the chair warming, bloviating, moron Socialists in Congress, Americans aren't buying O'BomberCare and are ripping the morons at town hall meetings.

Neither are Americans intimidated from speaking out against O'BomberCare...as O'Bomber and his merry little band of Chicago thugs intended.

its a given that bush's administration spied on every man woman and child who uses a telephone, computer or fax machine whether they were terrorists or not, whether they could decode the information they got or not. and if you were a muslim - look out!

keep on backing the lynch mob, my man, hope they don't turn on you! it's not the healthcare they don't like, it's the man who had the nerve to get elected. hence the unending attempts to undermine him by pretending he is some sort of TOON.

there's a lot going on in and coming out of congress that i don't like right now, but the time to "expose" a supposed fraud is BEFORE he gets elected. now he is the president, all your lot are doing is stirring up civil war. is that what you want? really??

obama also invites YOU to say what you think. if it were put in intelligible, valid and rational terms it might even get a listen! do you think any reasonable person will listen to a raving lunatic, or the mob equivalent of same?

That's some obviously wrong thinking. Explain how gathering the propaganda and information against his reform plan is "stifling" free speech? How is he preventing people from opinion?

You want to see stifling, go to one of those town hall meetings where Congresspeople are talking about these plans. The concerted effort by the Right to disrupt the free speech of those who side with the majority who believe healthcare reform is a good idea. That's more of an attempt at stifling than merely collecting information.

quote:
Neither are Americans intimidated from speaking out against O'BomberCare...as O'Bomber and his merry little band of Chicago thugs intended.

Intended intimidation? That's as far fetched as your "stifling" theory. What is intimidating about collecting the opposing propaganda? Nothing. Nonsense.

the disrupters look more like lynch mobs everyday. who is doing the intimidating? posters of obama in whiteface and coupled with swastikas, people screaming over the speakers - say NOTHING about the healthcare bill, but everything about the people carrying them.

who is convicting obama of being a fraud because someone wants out of his deployment in afghanistan?

who is interpreting counselling in end of life issues as euthanasia pressure?

for someone who says he believes in the american way you are awfully quick to join the mob and forget the onus is on the accuser not the accused...

What is truly odious about the every man who is bussed in to the Town Meetings (is that) they can download the script of talking points, paid for by Big Pharma and the Insurance Companies themselves.
In fact Pharma / Insurance have spent more money organizing, recruiting, advertising lies, and scaring the white out a my Mom ma's hair than monies spent on last years Election Campaign!
Think that most of the hollering in the crowd are average Joe's and Jane's? Think again...and they drown out those with legitimate questions by saying (yelling) JUST SAY NO! Just say no to what? No reform whatsoever? When one woman stood up and asked "Who in this room has health insurance", most every hand went up
Pro's are organizing this. The grassroots are being called Astroterph....
This is not 1994, people see what is really going on. And they see the Blue Dogs too, the Blue Dogs that are more concerned about getting re-elected than buckling down and making sure this thing is as right as it can be for right now. Will the Bill have lacks? Outright mistakes? Of course there is no such thing as a perfect Bill. But it has to happen, none of us can afford status quo...

No protesters against O'Bomber's Socialist Health Care are being "bused in"...from anywhere. These are not political activists.

We leave political activism to the leftist thug set like ACORN and like the various labor unions.

Just like Hitler, just like Lenin, just like Stalin, just like Mao, just like Castro...O'Bomber invites his Kool-Aid drinkers to snitch out their friends, associates and family members who are against O'Bomber's Socialist Health Care.

demoscat congressional members are finding out what Americans think of O'Bomber's Socialist health care. If O'Bomber wants to know what Americans are saying about his loony-tunes venture into Socialist health care, all he needs to do is tune in...or simply ask the Socialist demoscats what people are saying at their so called town hall meetings.

O'Bomber is in the process of attempting to stifle free speech by intimidation tactics. It's not working. Lots of people who are against O'Bomber's Socialist schemes are going to O'Bomber's snitch site and snitching on themselves.

Americans are not intimidated by O'Bomber's thuggish intimidation tactics.

O'Bomber and Socialist demoscat congressional members are losing this Socialist health care argument 53% to 42%.

do you get medicare jwhop? did you receive government healthcare when in the national guard? you seem panicky at the thought that some of this money might come from trimming down medicare - which is fraught with fraud and would do much BETTER if that was trimmed out, no?

why do you object to a version of medicare for people who are not as old as you?

and how can you object to a plan that says a)you can keep the insurance you have if you want it? and
b)none of these benefits are available to people here illegally? and
c)makes your plans for your old age/terminal years available on insurance where it never was before?

have you read the bill yet? i should say PROPOSED bill since it is not even finished yet...?

obviously you read different polls than i, jw...

but its cool that people are actually saying their piece - it's been an open invitation all along!

as for intimidation, who is bringing guns and swastikas to the town hall meetings where congressmen are ATTEMPTING TO LISTEN to what people have to say about the healthcare shite? seems some people don't want to contribute anything but rabble babble rah rah rah!

last poll i saw said obama is not popular among white men...i wonder who put that one out? could it be true?

fortunately for obama most people don't approve of mob rule, that's why we have a constitution in the first place.

and they're only an itty bitty bunch anyway despite what the radio and news want to blow it up to. polls schmolls...

You really need to get out more...in the real world. Instead, you surround yourselves with those like you who are the least informed citizens.

That's like the blind leading the blind.

"Nationally, support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low. Just 42% favor the plan while 53% are opposed. Other data shows that 51% fear the federal government more than private insurance companies. Forty-one percent (41%) fear the insurance companies more. Overall, 32% favor a single-payer health care system for the U.S. while 57% are opposed."

Kat's right, but beyond that, the argument wasn't specified.

Rasmussen, home of the 1,000 politically lead poll. Yeah. That about sums it up, doesn't it?

When Pew does a 2,000 person poll, it finds:

Democrats largely take the opposite view, with nearly seven-in-ten saying U.S. health care is either average (35%) or below average (34%). Independents have more in common with Democrats than with Republicans in their evaluation of America's health care. Roughly six-in-ten say health care in this country is average (32%) or below average (29%) compared with other industrialized countries. http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1293/health-care-public-gives-lukewarm-rating-to-american-system

And Pew is MORE generalized, less politicized, and less likely to lead answers.

Pew's study is from just last month.

Yeah, Rasmussen polls 1000 people every day...a different 1000 people of "likely voters"...instead of merely registered voters or Americans at random who do not vote.

That's a 1000 a day, 7000 a week and about 30,000 a month...not 2000 total as Pew polls and it's 7 days a week polling a different 1000 likely voters.

Further, Rasmussen uses a smoothing factor which eliminates sharp swings in reaction to a days events. That smoothing factor is called a "moving average"...and that's the reason Rasmussen is considered the most accurate poll..but only for those who want to know what voters are thinking.

Hahaha, how quickly leftists forget...or perhaps they just have a convenient memory...or even a lying memory.

I can still hear these screeched words reverberating off the walls.

"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic.

We should stand up and say, we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration"
Hillary Clinton

Apparently, O'Bomber, his Kool-Aid drinkers and his butt kissers in the main stream media didn't hear Hillary say that..or they now have convenient memories...or they just don't understand the words...now that the Marxist Socialist O'Bomber is attempting to cram Socialist health care down the throats of Americans.

you call hanging people in effigy debate? bringing loaded guns to argue in a town hall meeting with? painting swastikas on congressmen's offices and calling them nigger? shouting down information instead of asking or giving opinions?

what am i saying, of course you do. you may think you talk to people who don't agree with you but from what i've seen you don't hear a word they say and all THEY hear is the same mantra over and over.

from what i have seen of you sir you believe that anyone YOU agree with is okay taking the law into their own hands. rough justice, isn't that what you called it? i hope you are proud of your cowboy countrymen when they precipitate martial law on us all.

when are you going to grow up?

Where do you get this stuff? Rasmussen isn't remotely considered the most accurate poll in the country. What? Are you reading that right off their site?

instead of merely registered voters or Americans at random who do not vote.

I think you must be talking out your ass. What determines "likely" voters versus "registered" voters? And why would "likely" voters be any better than registered or unregistered voters? They wouldn't. And a sample of 1,000 Americans no matter what their political affiliation isn't going to produce reliable results. You want to do the math on what percent of the electorate 1,000 people would be?

Apparently, O'Bomber, his Kool-Aid drinkers and his butt kissers in the main stream media didn't hear Hillary say that..or they now have convenient memories...or they just don't understand the words...now that the Marxist Socialist O'Bomber is attempting to cram Socialist health care down the throats of Americans.

Huh? That only makes sense if you perceive that Democrats are trying to shut up Conservatives. That's the OPPOSITE of what is happening, and what's been happening. Conservatives have proven a vocal minority trying to shout down Democrats trying to discuss the proposal on the table.

acoustic, you are at least consistent.

You consistently show you have your head firmly stuck in your butt and don't know what you are talking about.

It's both a pleasure and a public service to consistently correct your blithering, blathering and bloviating bullshiiit.

Poll Accuracy in the 2008 Presidential Election

For all the derision directed toward pre-election polling, the final poll estimates were not far off from the actual nationwide voteshares for the two candidates. On average, preelection polls from 23 public polling organizations projected a Democratic advantage of 7.52 percentage points on Election Day, which is only about 1.37 percentage points away from the current estimate of a 6.15-point Obama margin in the national popular vote.
Following the procedures proposed by Martin, Traugott and Kennedy (see Public Opinion Quarterly, Fall 2006, pp. 342-369) to assess poll accuracy, I analyze poll estimates from these 23 polling organizations. Four of these polls appear to have overestimated McCain support (indicated with a * below), while most polls (17) overestimated Obama strength.
Pre-election projections for two organizations’ final polls Rasmussen and Pew were perfectly in agreement with the actual election result (**).

The following list ranks the 23 organizations by the accuracy of their final, national preelection
polls (as reported on pollster.com).

1. Rasmussen (11/1-3)**
1. Pew (10/29-11/1)**
2. YouGov/Polimetrix (10/18-11/1)
3. Harris Interactive (10/20-27)
4. GWU (Lake/Tarrance) (11/2-3)*
5. Diageo/Hotline (10/31-11/2)*
5. ARG (10/25-27)*
6. CNN (10/30-11/1)
6. Ipsos/McClatchy (10/30-11/1)
7. DailyKos.com (D)/Research 2000 (11/1-3)
8. AP/Yahoo/KN (10/17-27)
9. Democracy Corps (D) (10/30-11/2)
10. FOX (11/1-2)
11. Economist/YouGov (10/25-27)
12. IBD/TIPP (11/1-3)

Jwhop, you're not SERIOUSLY trying to claim Rasmussen is the best, because they tied Pew on ONE singular issue, are you? Get real.

And I find it particularly funny that it's the issue that I myself predicted correctly whilst you did not.

So much for correcting my bullsh!t. There's only one bullshitter in these parts, and he's on your side of the monitor.

Yes acoustic, Rasmussen is the best and recognized as the most accurate polling organization in the US.

Rasmussen polls every day. Pew picks it's spots.

I notice you rejected the results of a previous Pew poll which showed only 21% of respondents believe All or even Most of what they read in the New York Times.

Now, you claim Pew as your ashole buddies.
