I'm not even quite sure what you mean.

Honestly, I'm not curious at all about this news story, so I wondered if you really are curious about it...or if you're merely wondering where the other one might be. I haven't seen the other one to my knowledge (it could be under some other name).

Why did I post? I already said the reason: to find out if Kat was seriously curious, because I wasn't.

Dee, it's only snide if you believe it's offensive to state a preference or an opinion. That I'm not interested in this article shouldn't offend you. I see headlines every day. Some I find interesting. Others I don't. You'd more likely entice me into being interested in a story by actually posting it than just posting a headline.

On second thought, I'll agree with snide. I suppose it is kind of snide to point out that I don't think a person is contributing something of value as my preference is that people contribute valuable things. It would be kinder to say nothing, which I've done on several occasions. That's how it is with me. I offer some grace and tolerance, and some honesty. I'm sorry that it's not pleasant, but I'll take the opportunity to try to change things from time to time. It's just the way it is.

i found it interesting that homeschooling could be an issue for asylum, yes. it seems to have turned out that the issue is actually more to do with freedom to practice one's religion according to conscience - a basic tenet of the bill of rights for sure. so

so far the right to homeschool PER SE is still not considered to have enough merit for immigration asylum...?

fortunately in "socialist" california one need only declare oneself a "private" school to keep your kids home and teach them in any way you choose...as there are no state regulations as to what or how private schools teach! and it costs nothing except the form fee (about $5 i think when i did it, tho honestly i can't remember if there even WAS a fee)..

no pluto is getting his butt into full power mode! he has every right to wonder why a topic is relevant...

I have no idea what Pluto's doing to me, but it is conjuncting my Sun, and squaring my natal Pluto, so it must be doing something. It's a pretty secretive planet, though, and so slow as to be subtle perhaps. I don't think it's kicking my butt yet, but maybe it's setting up something.

I think you asked because I accepted that what I said was snide, but I was merely trying to be fair, which is pretty typical of me (if I do say so myself ).
