Jon Stewart Clip about last weeks vote on the 9/11 Responders Bill.

Stewart takes his time with this (10 min long) and uses many clips to make his points... I liked Anthony Weiner before, now I respect him.

demoscats have been in charge of the Congress of the United States since 2006...almost 4 years.

The little weiner...not up to Oscar Mayer quality...could have brought up his bill anytime in the last 3 years but he wanted to play politics with the 9/11 responders.

His ranting and raving reminds of nothing more than a juvenile narcissistic temper tantrum. But that's what leftists do. Screech, whine, suck their thumbs and shriek.

Good thing his psychiatrist didn't see his display on the House floor. He'd book weiner for some extra sessions.

jwhop you just can't resist a crass pun can you? good thing none of these people are paying attention to this board, eh?

why does it sully the effort that it happened now, not 3 years ago? why should it need to be done at all? it should have been done NINE YEARS AGO. i'm guessing the timing has something to do with the changing of the guard to a more reasonable "man with the veto"...

but node, how, with a clear majority, did the republicans defeat this? sorry my vid doesn't work and i haven't been following this one, too much life going on lately.

The Democrats saw fit to have a 2/3 vote.

clear majority, they just didn't have 2/3 of the vote.

Total incompetence

They didn't want to give the Pubs the opportunity to add Amendments on the floor.

The idiocy...particularly with this bill is not just embarrassing. It borders on heinous.

They did get the 2/3 vote for a gun law last week tho.
