...I believe that words can empower a person so much, no matter who they come from.

Just today, a doctor here in China said I had cancer, Hodgkin's to be precise. Staging will happen soon.

I need to be stronger than I have ever been in my life, but I know that every person who touches my life, including those on this board, can have an amazing impact!

Also, I am looking for those who have been through a similar experience to help me understand it, encourage me, warn me, give me words of wisdom, etc. Whatever you can say!

Also, I really do not want to leave my students. I want to stay here in China, with my gf and teach my classes so badly. My gf has been a rock for me, a solid person who has promised to be by my side no matter what. It would devastate me deeply to leave her, but I also miss my family.

i hope you can find some holistic help with or without the conventional approach. with, it helps immensely in dealing with the poisons the conventional use, and without, it has helped some people. but that is a choice only you can make after research. i don't know anything about how the chinese deal with cancer!
