This guy campaigned on opposing health care reform, and then when he gets elected is upset that he has to go 28 days without government health care.

I read in the article that he was an anesthesiologist. Why doesn't he just pony up to get himself some private insurance, to fill that gap? Let alone the fact that he should have cobra until he gets his new federal tax payer paid insurance...

I just saw a clip

and would use a more potent word than the H word, cos I'm a salty girl.

a responder on your page.

What I find appalling is that a man who would rewrite the rules on health care didn't even know how they applied to his own situation.

I live in MD and Rep. Andy Harris is a jerk.

Andy:

Shoot, I was out of work for months about 7 years ago, was hired at a newly opened place and didn't get a pay check for over 3 weeks!

it is certainly not limited to healthcare, either. earmarks are now nothing to worry about, and not a major way of trimming the budget, according to mcconnell, the enemy of earmarks till he got some backup!

and what about cantor, making pledges to support israel AGAINST our administration...isn't that what they call treason? wonder if the dems will have the balls to drag him over the coals for this? he isn't even in the job yet and he is promising foreign powers the allegiance of his party? i know for SURE netanyahu was not born in the US, so he doesn't qualify for calling policy shots...

friend of mine: "His spokesperson is trying to claim that he was illustrating the inefficiencies of government-run health care. What a load of crap. Most of corporate America has waiting periods before employee health care kicks in. At my last job, at a HEALTH INSURANCE company, it was 90 days."

A group of Democrats is circulating a letter wanting to know when Republicans, who are against government-sponsored health care, will be putting their money where their mouth is and ditch their government-funded coverage. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1110/45256.html#ixzz15YJO2ckk
