So, when you combine the worst Congress in history with the worst President in history the wheels come off the little red wagon of the left.

These busybody leftists have attempted to stick their long bony busybody noses into every aspect of American's lives...with disasterous results...for what these empty headed leftist morons would call "Leftist Rule".

Under normal circumstances, Americans would have elected a new slate of Congressional members then gone back to sleep.

Not so in these times. There is much unrest among the bourgeoisie who well understand leftists in the Congress and the leftist in the White House have been...and still are making war on them along a broad front.

The peoples said STOP spending our money.

Today we find these same deaf leftists attempting to cram yet another 2000 page spending bill down the throats of Americans. This 2000 page bill contains another 6000+ earmarks, i.e., pork, was written in secret behind closed doors, didn't go through the normal committee process and popped into view only 3 days before Hairy Reid proposed to bring the $1.2 Trillion dollar spending bill to a vote in the Senate.

The current crop of leftists ripped their masks off and revealed to America who and what they really are...enemies; against the rule of law, against the free market system, against constitutional rule and authority, against the values most Americans hold dear and against mainstream Americans.

November 2nd has come and gone. The leftist Congress got it's butt kicked in the recent election.

Now, the date...November 6, 2012 looms on the calendars of radical leftists in the Senate when 23 more demoscats are up for reelection...or another thorough butt kicking.

Gallup: Worst ratings for Congress in history
Rick Moran

It's not so much what they've done, it's what they haven't done. The economic crisis is creating enormous problems in many parts of the country and the people don't see Congress doing anything about it:

Americans' assessment of Congress has hit a new low, with 13% saying they approve of the way Congress is handling its job. The 83% disapproval rating is also the worst Gallup has measured in more than 30 years of tracking congressional job performance.

The prior low approval rating for Congress was 14% in July 2008 when the United States was dealing with record-high gas prices and the economy was in recession.
The current results are based on a Dec. 10-12 Gallup poll, conducted as Congress is finishing work on an important lame-duck session. The session has been highlighted by the agreement on taxes forged last week by President Obama and Republicans in Congress. The tax deal preserves the 2001 and 2003 income tax rates for all Americans for two years, revises the estate tax, extends unemployment benefits for the long-term unemployed for a year, and reduces payroll taxes for American workers. It is expected to pass despite vocal opposition from some lawmakers.

Surprisingly, Gallup states that these numbers do not reflect any feelings against Democrats as a result of last month's election:

Frustration with the tax deal among Democrats in the general population could be a major reason for Americans' historically low approval rating of Congress. That frustration could be opposition to the bill's particulars or frustration with the Democrats in Congress opposing the president's deal. Democrats' approval of Congress is down significantly, to 16% now, from 29% in November. The November poll was conducted after Republicans won control of the House of Representatives for 2011-2012 in the midterm elections, so the drop in this month's numbers is not a reaction to the Democrats' midterm losses.
Meanwhile, independents' and Republicans' ratings of Congress are down similar to November.

It remains to be seen if the GOP can raise those numbers significantly. Since the Dems will do all in their power to obstruct, it seems unlikely.

perhaps it escaped your notice, jwhop, that the democrats who lost their seats in november were CONSERVATIVE DEMS, and they were replaced by more progressive fellow party members, not just tea baggers and republicans. the left has not gone away, they are just disappointed that the last 2 years didn't upset more apple carts.

and your style of campaigning, along with those in your favour, is pushing them FURTHER to the left, not dragging them into the center.

should be a fun two years!

You must be daft katatonic.

This is the list of those House members who lost the general election.

Go to this site to find a working list of all the earmarks. In this state, Giffords and her liberal ahole buddies made sure to reward the liberal voters with tons of pork.

The wall didn't work in Germany because it was to keep people 'in'. The wall on our border is to keep people 'out'.

We need more protection down here in the form of border agents, UAV's, a wall, border cameras and strict laws agains't employing illegals or aiding them in any way other than humanitarian.

Sadly, this county and others like it have become a path for cartels and predators. Ironically, Mexico has some of the harshest laws against people that enter their country illegally.

a wall that keeps people OUT of az keeps them IN mexico. what is the difference? the berlin wall kept people OUT as well as in too.

meanwhile it seems arizona's governor is apparently against federal healthcare but not against federal funds to cover az healthcare? is this typical of her thinking? it seems the stimulus money az has had is not enough and that unless they get more arizona will be operating its own "death panels"? not as in advice for end of life arrangements, but as in "sorry, the feds won't pay for your op, or rather, they need to pay more for you to get your op covered by arizona..."?

Omnibus Defeat Is a Victory for Reality
by Sarah Palin on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 5:08pm

The following statement I wrote regarding the defeat of the omnibus spending bill was posted at National Review Online's The Corner:

I’m glad the Senate came to its senses and killed the omnibus spending monstrosity. That outrageous trillion-dollar pork buffet was an outright slap in the face to the American public’s expressed wishes in the last election. It was as if Congress was earning its historically low 13 percent approval rating before our very eyes. I applaud senators like Jim DeMint, John McCain, and others who fought this and stopped it.

However, the very fact that some lawmakers on Capitol Hill thought such reckless spending was even remotely acceptable is disturbing. We’re facing trillion-dollar deficits and a record national debt, but some people still want to continue spending like there’s no tomorrow. If the European debt crisis teaches us anything, it’s that tomorrow always comes. Sooner or later, the markets will expect us to settle the bill for the enormous Obama-Pelosi-Reid spending binge. We’ve already been warned by the credit ratings agency Moody’s that unless we get serious about reducing our deficit, we may face a downgrade of our credit rating. Even the lamest of lame ducks can’t ignore this reality.

- Sarah Palin
