Hi peeps, Tunesia, Egypt, possibly Algeria right now as we speak - what do you think? Normal people taking to the streets, firing messages on social networks, bringing down their totalitarian regimes in peace and unity, singing and dancing in public squares - isn't that the aquarian age coming to life in its most obvious and glorious form? I think it is....let me know what you think. IP: Logged |

remains to be seen what will replace what is coming down, but it looks like improvement from here,..of course if you speak to a lot of people they are certain that this is the beginning of the end of civilization, you know, letting muslims self-rule they will come and slit all our throats in the night, or throw burkhas over us, or whatever! bless us all!IP: Logged |

Once parliamentary democracy sets in, Arabs will blossom. In fact, lack of democracy is the main cause of islamic fundamentalism. With democracy, even the religious right are accountable for providing amenities, else they get booted out. No democracy has ever invaded another democratic country. Egyptian masses have proven they have intellectually evolved with their brave display. Next, it has to be the Saudi Arabian Regime. Iran, Syria, Yemen, Algeria... all lined up. Let Uranus foray into Aries. IP: Logged |

oops sorry. It's hard to read sarcasm in texts at times. It's a sad thing that some people truly believe that. IP: Logged |

and let's not forget our own "middle west" - wisconsin... of all places... where the wonderful "less government" governor swept in by the tide in '10 threatens to call in the national guard to prevent his subjects (sorry, citizens!) from exercising their right to free assembly in the interest of public employees having a say in their working conditions...IP: Logged |

"threatens to call in the national guard to prevent his subjects (sorry, citizens!) from exercising their right to free assembly"...katatonicAs usual katatonic, you're full of it. Walker is readying the Wisconsin National Guard to full critical positions should public employee unions go on strike....or stage a work slowdown by habitually calling in sick. One can find your usual brand of blither, blather, bloviation and bullshiiit at Move on, demoscat underground, Puffington post, center for american progress and at the usual suspect sites when only a lie will do. Does it really matter where the lie came from katatonic?Or, is it more important that it is a lie...and the kind of lying statement anyone with 2 braincells could put to rest with even cursory research....so, why didn't you? IP: Logged |

When state or federal members of public employee unions choose to protest during work hours and don't show up for work...fire them and de-certify their unions. Extra-curricular activities should be done on their own time and not on the public's dime. It's also not escaped me that these teachers are pimping out their students for their "political" protests. These jerks are protesting over a necessary plan calling for them to contribute more...a small amount more to their own health care and pension fund costs. It's escaped their attention that those who are paying their salaries, health care costs and pension costs...taxpayers...are suffering almost 20% unemployment and under-employment, are having their homes foreclosed and have had to cut back on their own personal expenses. There's real economic pain in the private sector but these jerks and their union bosses think they should be immune. It's not as though these jerks in the so called "teachers" unions are producing a superior product...educated students. In their prime reason for existing...educating students...these jerks are colossal failures. That's sufficient reason for firing them beyond playing hookey from work...while on the public payroll and pimping out their students for their political cause.

pimping out their students? oh you mean because the students are supporting them? that alone speaks volumes about how "terrible" the teachers are doesn't it? or are you suggesting that they are PAYING students to stand by their sides? IP: Logged |
