Chicago school district bans homemade lunches. The article even touts it as 'tough love'. I mean.. wtf!

I don't want to get into all the preservatives and lack of nutrition in school lunches. Jamie Oliver covered just how messed up our school lunches are on Food Revolution. Great show.. and when he tried to fly into Los Angeles to do something similar he got banned from the public school districts like a criminal before he ever even arrived..

The school districts do not have the budget to feed healthy non-processed foods. Ban the vending machines.. not homemade lunches.. Besides.. even the new food pyramid is whacked.. and we deserve autonomy (liberty). It's supposed to be what this nation is founded on.

Yes, this really stinks. It is healthier, and less expensive to bag a childs lunch.
