Well, if California wants to treat every other lender the very same way..private lenders too then I suppose they can get away with it. 14th Amendment don't you know.However, expect every residential lender to shut down operations in California and make NO further residential real estate loans there in Loony-Tunes Land. well it is the city of LA that is running this suit, so far just one bank named, however i heard this morning that a bunch of protesters were outside Wells Fargo (somewhere) kicking up a fuss about THEIR foreclosure "habits"..whether this is the start of a trend or not i don't know. the idea, i believe is to make the bank take care of its foreclosed properties, or perhaps to think thrice before foreclosing so the onus falls on the "owners"?
