"The era of hope and change is dead....and it only took six months in office to kill it.

Never has an administration taken office with more inflated expectations of turning Washington around. Never have a media-anointed American Idol and his entourage fallen so fast and hard. In her latest investigative tour de force, New York Times bestselling author Michelle Malkin delivers a powerful, damning, and comprehensive indictment of the culture of corruption that surrounds Team Obama's brazen tax evaders, Wall Street cronies, petty crooks, slum lords, and business-as-usual influence peddlers. In Culture of Corruption, Malkin reveals:

* Why nepotism beneficiaries First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are Team Obama's biggest liberal hypocrites--bashing the corporate world and influence-peddling industries from which they and their relatives have benefited mightily

* What secrets the ethics-deficient members of Obama's cabinet--including Hillary Clinton--are trying to hide

* Why the Obama White House has more power-hungry, unaccountable "czars" than any other administration

* How Team Obama's first one hundred days of appointments became a litany of embarrassments as would-be appointee after would-be appointee was exposed as a tax cheat or had to withdraw for other reasons

* How Obama's old ACORN and union cronies have squandered millions of taxpayer dollars and dues money to enrich themselves and expand their power

* How Obama's Wall Street money men and corporate lobbyists are ruining the economy and helping their friends.

In Culture of Corruption, Michelle Malkin lays bare the Obama administration's seamy underside that the liberal media would rather keep hidden."

Praise for Culture of Corruption

"Culture of Corruption, by my good friend and intrepid reporter Michelle Malkin, reveals all the sordid details the Obama Administration would rather you not know--the sleaze, corruption, and self-dealing of the Chicago Machine that lets no `crisis' go to waste. A powerful and necessary indictment of what `hope and change' really means."
--Mark Levin, author of the New York Times bestsellers Liberty and Tyranny and Men in Black

"Dogged, fiercely independent, and with a brilliant eye for the telling detail, Michelle Malkin has now turned her formidable skills to the bright new dawn of the Obama era, and the ever widening gulf between the hopey-changey rhetoric and the murkier reality. Her riveting portrait of unsavory cronies parceling out the spoils of government is somewhat at odds with the impression you may have gained from the besotted Tiger Beat correspondents of the mainstream media. I will leave it to the reader to decide which view is more persuasive, but let's just say that, if more journalists were like Michelle Malkin, American newspapers might still have a future."
--Mark Steyn, author of the New York Times bestseller America Alone

yes corruption is the reason conservatives don't like obama! but do they understand what following the norquist plan is really going to mean?

a figurehead president whose only necessary qualifications are the ability to sign what congress puts in front of him.

ie a politburo state run by those chosen by norquist et al, and a president who has no ideas of his own or governing ability or power.

the article quoted below points out that it is highly unlikely that the newly conservatized congress has the lowest EVER ratings of approval from the voting public will inspire more of same...once again i am glad that the '10 elections went the way they did, ample opportunity for the public to see what the tea party would wreak if given MORE power.

The most quoted speech at CPAC this year was Mitt Romney's, but my vote for the most significant goes to Grover Norquist's. In his charmingly blunt way, Norquist articulated out loud a case for Mitt Romney that you hear only whispered by other major conservative leaders.

They have reconciled themselves to a Romney candidacy because they see Romney as essentially a weak and passive president who will concede leadership to congressional conservatives:

All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate.

The requirement for president?

Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared.

The most quoted speech at CPAC was Sarah Palin's speech...at least by any of the people who matter.

In that speech, Palin painted a picture of the community organizer O'Bomber with words. He's everything Palin said he is and is as unfit to be president as she says he is.

i notice you are studiously avoiding the topic of grover norquist's blatant power grab and his plans for 20 years of congressional rule with puppet presidents. of course, it will only be the "people who matter" in control, so maybe that is of no concern to you, our emminent constitutionalist!

Norquist is not in Sarah Palin's league, not in popularity, not in influence in the Republican Party or in any other way that matters.

The fact leftist twits have seized upon a minor player and attempted to magnify his influence as though he's calling the shots for the Republican Party only shows how out of touch with reality leftist twits really are. In that regard, they are the people who don't matter.

they have all signed his pledge, jwhop, and i hope you are right that money is not the ONLY motivator in the republican party but i think he is pulling more strings than you like to admit.
