What do you think of the people who really want Santorum but are voting for Romney because they think Romney can beat Obama better?

I think those people are wrong Ami.

I believe there's not enough "apparent" difference between Romney and O'Bomber for the average voter to get it. They're going to get "sound bite" so called...journalism.

Romney will be designated as O'Bomber lite by the O'Bomber campaign. RomneyCare and O'BomberCare share far too many similar provisions..including "mandates" to buy insurance.

But, Santorum is going to be portrayed as a big government republican who voted to increase the national debt, increase spending, support for unions...the main funding arm of O'Bomber and the demoscat party and any number of other bills.

I don't know that the kind of advertising that's going to be on the airwaves can be avoided or set straight. The main reason is that under House and Senate rules, a rider or amendment can be added to a major bill that MUST be passed or there will be major consequences for the country. You can be totally against the rider or amendment and still feel the main bill is so important that you have to vote for it anyway...even with the added provision(s) you despise.

Right now, I'm furious with the republican candidates who treated the stupid questions from so called journalists in the debates as serious questions. Those so called...journalists are nothing more than shills for Barack O'Bomber.

The day those questions start to get answered like this...is the day those kinds of questions stop cold.

Senator Santorum, there's a lot of people who say you're against a woman's right to choose. How do you answer those people?

Well Wolf/Sally/Ted/Dick/Keith/Diane..et al, that's an important question.

Like the rest of America, including almost all members of the US House and US Senate, I'm against the horrific and barbaric practice of "infanticide". Like almost everyone in America, I was shocked to hear Barack O'Bomber come out in favor of "infanticide", the practice of letting babies born alive die by laying the naked newborn baby on a cold metal surface and walking away until the baby has died without any medical attention to protect it's life.

Barack O'Bomber argued long and hard on the floor of the Illinois Senate for the practice of barbaric infanticide but the Congress of the United States were so horrified and appalled by the practice the US Senate voted by "unanimous consent" to pass the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act and President Bush quickly signed the Act into law.

I was equally shocked to hear Barack O'Bomber say that deciding when a person acquires the right to life IS "Above my pay grade". Judging by Barack O'Bomber's answer to that question, it's unclear whether or not Barack O'Bomber thinks you...Wolf/Andrea/Ted/Diane..et al, have reached the age of legal protection for "the right to life".

And, I was equally shocked to hear Barack O'Bomber lie to the nation in the State of the Union Address where he stated there were no provisions in O'BomberCare for abortion.

Since Barack O'Bomber started making war on religion in America, in violation of their 1st Amendment Rights, it's come out into the open that O'BomberCare contains provisions for chemical abortion which he is attempting to force religious institutions to provide to their employees; a practice which violates the tenets of their religious beliefs.

I hope that answered your important question...Wolf/Andrea/Ted/Keith/Diane..et al.

Well Ami, I was saddened to learn of Andrew's passing too.

He was set to air a series of O'Bomber video tapes from back in his Harvard days when he was hanging with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorne and other Marxist radicals.

It's my understanding those video tapes are still going to go on the air so America can get a real good look at the real Barack Hussein O'Bomber.

I hope the tapes are not edited. I read 1984 and Animal Farm when I was a kid. I never forgot the thought police and polical correctness of 1984. I was aghast at it but it is coming slowly like a frog in luke warm water who is comfortable until he dies.

Not sure. He has something to say, something to offer that only he can do. The country needs to hear his voice so I would say no but I am just speaking from the heart.

Randall, I've read your stuff here for more than 11 years. I've observed that you're articulate, accurate, concise and knowledgeable. In short, I doubt you need any help.

Nevertheless, I would be happy to try to help you get elected to any office in which you have an interest. Go for it!

Ami Anne, I'm happy you're not a better man than I; happy in fact that you're not a man at all.

Well, there's several ways to look at Newt.

Don't forget that I sent Newt an email after he appeared in an Algore commercial with Nancy Pee-Lousy touting global warming. I told Newt he was either too stupid or too corrupt to ever hold any high office. One of his aides responded that Newt didn't subscribe to all the tenets of man made global warming or the proposed tax on fossil fuel energy which was being put out as a trial balloon to see how it flew.

I wrote his aide back and...using very blunt language told him and Newt to F-Off and further, to never contact me again...ever.

Newt later said that commercial with Nancy Pee-Lousy was one of the most stupid things he's ever done. I have no doubt Newt got a lot of correspondence along the lines of the ones I sent him but none of those could have been more blunt or straight to the point.

That's one side of the many faceted Newt.

Here's another.

Newt is both a thinker and a doer. He's done what he's proposing. Newt engineered the take-over of the House of Representatives after 70 years of demoscat rule and he angered many of the "establishment republicans...notice..small r"..with the reforms he put in place as Speaker of the House. He was enemy number 1 on the demoscat hit list and some..small r..republicans too.

I hear a lot of blither and blather from other candidates about the issues of the day and what to do about them...but, their answers are generally shallow and amount more to talking points, sound bites, without any depth. Cut taxes, reduce the size and scope of government, etc, etc, etc. General principles of Republican politics. If you push them for more depth to their answers, you'll get something like this. It worked when J.F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and George W Bush did it...and that would all be true.

Ask Newt the same question and he could give you a 60 minute..off the cuff answer which would take you back in history, sometimes very far back in history and give examples of what happens when certain actions are taken but more importantly, WHY some things work and others simply don't, won't and can't. In other words, Newt generally knows WHY and HOW things work or don't.

Perhaps it's just a personal idiosyncrasy on my part but unless someone knows WHY what they're saying IS true or WHY what they propose or someone else proposes works or doesn't work; then they're not really the person to be trusted with solving or fixing complex problems.

Is Newt abrasive? Yep, he sure can be, as some debate so called Journalists quickly found out when they asked asinine questions in the debates...and as some republicans...small r..found out when Newt was Speaker of the House.

When you look at Newt, you're looking at a man whose knowledge is broad and deep; on some issues, it's beyond encyclopedic.

But, you're not looking at a mere theorist. He's a guy who put what he knows into practice in the real world and helped solve real problems of the day.

This is not a campaign ad for Newt but in my opinion, Newt should be President. If he were, you would find the US start to hum with economic activity, jobs, energy, smaller more focused government, far less business stifling regulations and the long bony busybody noses of federal bureaucrats out of everyone's personal lives.
