To me, the congressional elections are FAR more important then the presidential elections are. The reason is, is that this is the branch that creates the laws on the state and national level. Collectively they have so much more power and sway then does the president. To me the president is more of a figurehead and a counterweight to congress.It's still a bit early for this as most of these campaigns haven't gotten rolling quite yet. Nevertheless, are there any congressional elections that you are watching closely and hoping turn out in a certain way? I try to follow as many as I can once it gets closer. As even though I don't have a say outside of my state, it gives insight on to how the next 2 years will play out. Discuss! ------------------
