They were not happy with the austerity measures Sarkozy put into place. It is quite possible that President Francois Hollande will introduce protectionist policies that could lead to the collapse of the Euro (France is one of the economies keeping the currency afloat).

Thoughts?

It is thought that with a radical departure from the accepted "Merkozy" solution there could be real turmoil on the international markets (indeed, they're already showing volatility today), but on the other hand, he wants to bring French troops home from Afghanistan; this will be cost-effective for France but horrible for other countries involved in the UN Security Council as they will have to step up their efforts.

I'm not sure of the collapse of the Euro. Perhaps its the beginning of the gradual disintegration of the European Union.

I think it is interesting that they replaced Aquarius Sarkozy with his opposite sign. This happened recently in Canada as well; the much-beloved NDP leader Jack Layton was a Taurus and he passed away from cancer. They replaced him with Scorpio Thomas Mulcair; the two were said to have hated each other.

This is why I feel in a sense conflicted about the Occupy protests.

There is nothing they can accomplish that a democratic election cannot.

I think England had some incite given Britain didn't rally want to get involved with Euro in the first place.

Aquacheeka,

Jack Layton was a cancer July 18. The CBC is a reliable source and I know from my sister because she has been to
Jacks house.

Do you think a Taurus would act like him?

Oh a Cancer eh? Well either way he was one heck of a guy. That's awesome that your sister was friends with him. What an incredible guy. But yes I could see a Taurus being as warmhearted as he was, my dad is a Taurus and he is a humanitarian... he also has a Pisces moon.

yes, he was quite the guy, he was the first politician not afraid to be seen cycling to work everyday and he is responsible for rebuilding an almost broken party.
