It's about time and I declare it a small victory. May the RINOs be removed one at a time. Mitt, let this be your warning. You're looking at 32% to 35%, at best, if you are not careful.

I've been pulling for Richard Lugar to lose for at least 18 years.

Anyone who wants to know what Lugar is all about should read the Law of the Sea Treaty...code named "LOST" which is a fitting acronym considering it would open up the United States to unlimited meddling in the affairs of America and our citizens by the utterly corrupt, bungling boobs at the United Nations.

I'll take Mitt over Ba-Butt but I cannot in good conscience support another RINO. I sat out on McPain, and I'll do it again if Mitt doesn't change.

I had a prickly discussion with Mitt's campaign about Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank, as well as his stance on illegal immigration. Got nowhere.

They asked me about W. I said I supported neither W nor Papa 41. No more liberals!

We have to get rd of Obama. He is the worst president in U.S history. I wish you would re-think this.

Sometimes, you lose total hope in the American people but yesterday showed me that there is still a core of people who can think for themselves.

suggest whatever you like, jwhop, nice to see a firm republican position opened up in indiana for a change..

and your man lugar, speaking of tunnel vision, sees his way or the highway as the only possible solution for this country. in other words, he wants that scenario amelia suggested awhile back, where the simple majority suppresses the rest of the country JUST because they can...charming i'm sure, but not my idea of "of the people, by the people, for the people" more like of the lobbyists for the lobbyists and hang the "people" -

who are as varied as ever in their needs and views. a monolithic washington doesn't strike me as at all representative. but as long as it conforms to YOUR desires, who cares what the rest of us think, right?

in any case, it seems a small victory to oust an 80 year old after all those years in office...definitely time for a change, one could say. who will take the seat when the actual election comes around is still far from decided.

Ami,

I would, but the prescription for 44 is not a 45 that is simply not 44. This guy represents the other side of all that is wrong with America. He wants a cooperative relationship between government and business. The pro business agenda just wants business period. Shut down the damn inefficiencies that crowd out private sector optimizations. The government represents every ounce of all that is an unmitigated disaster.

I called Romney's office and asked for a balanced budget amendment. Silence. Sarbanes Oxley. Silence. Dodd Frank. Silence. Kennedy McCain. Silence.

What is his stance? How is this different from voting "Present" on everything?

A balanced budget. Amortization of debt. Strong military. Free trade. Open markets. Stable capital markets. Vigorous prosecution. Strong homeland security. High accountability. Is that so much to ask?

What America needs is a Chapter 11 style structured bankruptcy. Guess what baby boomers? Like a bankruptcy, you'll have to take a 50% haircut. Wipe out all equity. Start over with a healthier post petition profile.

They can start out by halving all government benefit programs and shutting down half of the federal government.

Anyone but Lenin would be better than Obama. Every vote counts to make him a one term president.

yes, keep focussing on one man...even though he hasn't the power you attribute to him! how powerful do you actually think he is? what country do you live in? you talk about small government and the constitution but don't seem to understand what the constitution says, or how we operate...and for small government there are any number of places you could check out, start with somalia, perhaps, it's lovely there i hear..not suggeting emigration, but a nice govt-free vacation.

take lots of bribe money with you!
