Trying to simplify thinking again? What we have here is a failure of imagination. People like yourself and Jwhop can't imagine that there are people on the Left that are good or decent people. That's where all of this stems from. As long as you can stubbornly cling to a belief that nothing good can come from "the other side," you'll continue to try to make them out as the scapegoat for society's ills. Inherent in using the word "excuse" is an accusation of lying. People that disagree with you aren't lying. They're not setting out to deceive you, and are typically setting out to correct the misconception put out by your side. When you admit to not being interested to getting to the bottom of something, it's difficult to make the other guy out as a liar. IP: Logged |

O'Bomber's already doing it Ami.  He's been saying some of this for the last 3.5 years.  1.It is Bush's Fault.
2. It is the Republican's Fault
3. It is Racism
4. It is NOT me. The words "good and decent" don't belong in the same paragraph with the word leftist acoustic. Liars, thievs and corrupt are a much better fit with leftists. IP: Logged |
