well it is a good point. POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE no one month tells the whole story, does it?

i might point out that when romney was governor of a massachussetts-in-recession, he repeatedly asked people to be patient and to realize that "this isn't going to turn around in a day or even a month, it takes time"...and at the END of his time there, he was finally able to brag about 50K jobs added over his entire term, despite "hemorraging jobs" in the first year or so after which it bottomed out.
http://leanforward.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/07/06/12598791-gov-romney-wanted-more-time-on-job-creation-too?lite

he took credit for the comeback but NO blame for the continued downturn during his first 3 years there

and though his last bid for the presidential nomination used his healthcare plan as a major accomplishment, he is now running against the idea for the rest of us...

Honestly, we would have to go back to the founding of the country. The founders care a great deal FOR the country, more than their personal aggrandizement. They believed in God,something greater than themselves. They had strong morals and values. The government was small, not a behemoth on and on and on.

We are so far from that now. How can one entangle with all the entrenched self interests and greed?

No, Kat, one month doesn't. But do four years tell the story? Why not just admit that Obama is your messiah and that you will always defend him no matter what?

Because that's a ridiculous thing to say, Randall. You deserve the rolled eyes for saying that. Never has Kat ever remotely expressed the sentiment you've assigned to her here.

randall you seem to have a problem separating ideas. perhaps that is because you are incapable of seeing flaws in people you like, or good qualities in those you dislike? i have never thought that way...

obama has done plenty wrong. i simply object to the BLACK OR WHITE - and i'm not talking race here - way of looking at things. and i think he is a better bet than romney any minute of any day.

Over the last four years, if you were to say that Obama hasn't tried to create an atmosphere conducive to job creation, you'd be wrong. If you were to say that the economy has been ripe for job creation, you'd also be wrong. If, however, you were to say that Obama has had a difficult time making any headway on job creation, you'd be right, because the most direct way the government can affect job creation is spending more money (whether by lowering taxes, adding more government jobs, or whatever). We know what the debt is, and we know a significant amount of people won't go for more spending. It's a rock and a hard place. When you can figure out a plan to give consumers more money they can spend without increasing the debt, then you'll have created an atmosphere for job creation. The producers of this nation won't add employees until demand for their products goes up (regardless of what their tax situation is).

yes ami, we all know you prefer to ignore evidence that contradicts your pre-determined beliefs.

didn't i hear you say how well your business is doing? doesn't randall also do well for himself? and yet you never stop moaning about how bad for business the current climate is...

the unemployment numbers go down because many of us, just like you, are not seeking EMPLOYMENT but minding your own business. just like the soviet, don't you think?

now perhaps you will read my reply to randall's ridiculously patronizing remark.

YOU are PLENTY disrespectful. Remember slurring me with the name Shylock because I am Jewish. There is not much lower than that, Kat. So, zip it about disrespect. Eh

no you may have read what i said that way, but that is NOT what i said. i asked why you insisted on MIMICKING THE STEREOTYPE, ie insisting that it is time for the jews to receive their payment/revenge.

in other words, you come over here as someone who sees the jews as the target for all the meanness of the world and therefore it is okay for them to persecute others.

but shylock was a fictional stereotype written for an anti-semitic time. you are a modern day jew who says she is a christian but you exhibit little forgiveness or compassion, the mainstays of christianity. of course there are many christians just like you who have used their beliefsas an excuse to slaughter and overrun others' lands(for their own good of course!)..

did you know, by the way, that under the muslim MOORS, all religions were tolerated as long as they obeyed the rule of law? when the spaniards ran them out of spain they promised to do the same, but after a very few months the heretics began to burn and the Inquisition started.

as i said, you appear incapable of reading anything i say without putting your own paranoia and predetermined idea of who i am first. which is pretty normal for most people. try a little objectivity, you are a gemini after all!

hope that makes sense.

and as i also said, your idea of respect and disrespect seems to leave you out of the picture entirely...you chide people to be respectful, but you exempt yourself from your own "rule".

What you said makes NO sense. In fact, of all the things you have said on here, this makes the LEAST sense.
Anyhoo Onward and Upward
