"Caught" makes it sound as if it wasn't a regular, televised speech. It was.

Not likely to change any opinions.

According to whom?

Bringing up pre-2008 election stuff now isn't likely to change anything.

It wasn't a "regular televised speech".

It was a speech before a mostly black audience and members of the press during the primary race in which O'Bomber went off script and let all his racist tendencies hang out for everyone to see.

The press covered for his sorry butt by selectively editing what they showed America.

This full length, unedited video shows it all. O'Bomber at his race baiting best telling his black audience they're getting screwed by America, the government doesn't like them because they're black and withholds money from them...and, it's all a damned lie.

In fact, O'Bomber himself is a damned lie, a made up persona of a person who does not exist and never did...just like I said in the beginning.

Thanks for keeping your string of being wrong alive acoustic. I had faith in you that your would.

It shows Obama's character, so yeah it's important. If Romney had made racist comments in 2007, you can bet the left would be all over it, so to say it won't make a difference because it is from 2007 when Obama does it is double-standard nonsense.

"and members of the press"

I can see someone saying that Obama is playing up "racism." Calling Obama "racist" for espousing a view that black people have been unaccomodated by white people doesn't seem quite right to me.

Daily Caller editor-in-chief Tucker Carlson, who originally covered the speech on his old MSNBC show back in 2007 (FOX News aired video back then, too, and ABC News also had a report), Tuesday accused the future president of employing "racial rhetoric designed to make people fearful."

But at another point in his remarks, delivered at Hampton University in Virginia, Obama calls the Bush administration's "incompetence" in dealing with the disaster "colorblind." http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/presidential-debates-2012-obama-romney-set-spar-amid/story?id=17384210

Gov. Palin on Obama 2007 racist speech: dishonest, divisive; Updated: Mark Levin’s comments added
October 03 2012
Jasmine Velasco

Many of you have seen the 2007 speech in which then-Senator Obama suggested that because of racism the federal government didn’t waive the Stafford Act to assist New Orleans after Katrina. What you may not know is that 10 days before Senator Obama gave this speech, the federal government did in fact waive the Stafford Act for New Orleans. And to add insult to injury, Barack Obama was one of 14 senators who actually voted against the bill that included the provision to give supplemental emergency assistance to New Orleans. In other words, he was being dishonest and divisive, which is behavior we’ve sadly seen far too often from him in the last four years.

Here is the video of Barack Obama’s speech to a predominately Black audience in Hampton Roads, Virginia in 2007. Watch it. I’ve never heard him affect an accent like this before. Since he grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia, I wonder where it comes from.

Update by Doug: (h/t Mary Beth House) Today on his radio show, Mark Levin mentioned Obama’s race-baiting demagoguery to which Governor Palin referred above. Click the image below to listen. It’s vintage.
