(I tried posting this on a more global spiritual forum, but since it was politics they would not have it)

I DO NOT want this thread to become a argument. I am more interested in peoples opinions OUTSIDE of the US because they may be less bias, but if you think you can give an unbiased opinion, please go ahead..

Just wondering if people are picking up the same readings as I am..
I will post my readings later so they are not to persuade anyone

I would also like to explain the pictures I chose.
I did not want any "posed" photos. I chose recent pictures where they are in the middle of speeches, not showing emotion one way or another. No being overly smiley, overly passionate, waving to a crowd, etc
I tried to pick that did not include other people or background distractions.
If you do not like my photos, please feel free to use your own.

First Id like to start with Hillary Clinton

Barack Obama

Mitt Romney

Hmmm...well, knowing these people might change the view somewhat.

Hillary, in this picture, looks like a calm person who's been through a lot. Her eyes look intent. The hair swept out of the way suggests pragmatism.

Barack Obama:
Kind of looks like a showman in this photo. There appears to be a manufactured importance to what he's trying to convey. He's trying to sell whatever it is he's talking about.

Mitt Romney:
Once again I get the salesman vibe. The face suggests a manufactured authority about whatever he's talking about. Situationally, I read that Romney has a more intimate connection with whomever he's speaking to, but it's not a give-and-take expression. It's an addressing of an issue.

Pictures of Barak have always made me cringe. My intuition picks up an ego-maniac vibe. He already knows he's going to win, again, this time around and that's why he's not trying too hard. He knows he doesnt need to.

Hillary Clinton
I just dont trust her. Her skin and hair makes me think of a tired alcoholic. Im not saying she is an alcoholic.. but I think there is something going on "inside her". Cant put my finger on it.

Barack Obama
I see him as tired. I think he has been following someone elses direction for a very long time. Now that it his time to give direction I pick up he found out it is a lot harder than it looks and he almost doesnt know where to go, but hes not ready to admit defeat.

Mitt Romney
I see him as emotional. I pick up that he might break down in private.. He will make cut throat decisions, but weep about it in private.

Maybe Ill try and get more in depth later.
Im almost late and its distracting me

hi T! i remember you had a gut reaction to obama years ago. but i wonder if it has anything to do with his MC (a big part of what we as distant observers see) being directly opposed to your sun?

i don't think it wise to judge his motives on the evidence of one debate. i don't think he has given up at all. he is an ox, prone to slow reactions, but surefooted ones in general.

i think that there is something of the egomaniac in every presidential candidate. george washington...was drafted, he did not want the job! but especially since the 20th century, just wanting the job indicates a certain amount of ego that can either be belief in one's ability to do good that is probably overestimated, to sheer self-interest and powerhunger.

it may be wishful thinking but i tend to think that obama actually wants to be a "real boy" (a la pinocchio), while actually understanding that the job comes with strings...while with mitt, i suspect he thinks he can run the puppeteers out of town once he gets in the magic chair. and any means that work will do.

fairaqua, how do you judge the skin and hair of someone who just came from the stylist as all political tv performances entail? she is covered in makeup and hairspray...and she is what, 65? she looks tired to me, but still strongwilled. from what i have heard she is not interested in the white house or VP chair, it may be getting to retirement time for her.

Hey sweet T, I have missed you!

Like AG, unbiased is a stretch but..

The pics say to me:

Hillary looks like a tired woman who has seen too much in her lifetime

Obama looks he`s driven by emotionalism . I would expect to see slam his fist down to drive the point home.

Mitt looks clueless, tired and businesslike. Trying to have the person see it his way.

I would think that any politician has to have a bit of ego, too, which is why they do have a "sales" vibe. That's not unusual for adults to have, though. There are plenty of people we encounter every day trying to sell us [manipulate us] on whatever idea or notion they have. You have to go by content, and not on the act. Elections are all about the act, so for the intelligent voter it's a philosophical choice. How things play out in the act is just entertainment.

Cold reading doesn't work well with pix. It requires interaction and gauging reactions that are often subtle (like a facial tick).

That said...

Hillary looks like a typical Scorpio to me in both the good & bad ways. Perhaps that's bias as I've thought of her that way for a long, long time.

Obama looks confident but frustrated to me. My guess is that he's tired of all the crass games he's being forced to participate in and I think his term of office has weighed more heavily on him than he thought it would. Part of that may be how his hair color has changed in just a few years (being POTUS seems to suck a good 10 years out of your life per term).

Romney looks way too slick, it looks as if every part of his wardrobe and even strand of hair was meticulously put in place to create an image. Of course all politicians do that, but he goes overboard with it.

Can't say any of this is useful, however. In virtually all cases major political players like these are going to be egotistical (let's face it, you HAVE to be arrogant to think you're qualified), image-oriented, and able to put on a good show (perhaps why so many entertainers become politicians and vice versa).

And I'd think Scorpios would make the best politicians as long as they can rein in their self-destructive side...well, not best for the people, but they'd be the most likely to have the qualities to succeed as one, save for the part where an electable politician is also a good performer (the qualities owned by such politicians as Jerry Springer, Ronald Reagan, Clint Eastwood, and even Jesse Ventura). Political elections in the USA are ultimately breads & circuses.

when i see depressing creatures,
with unprepossessing features,
i remind them on their own behalf
to - think - of
celebrated heads of state,
or specially great communicators!
did they have brains or knowledge?
don't make me laugh!

they were POPULAR!
please! it's all about popular.
it's not about aptitude,
it's the way you're viewed,
so it's very shrewd to be,
very very popular like ME!
