NBC posted some of Trumps tweets last night. Apparently, Trump isn't happy about it.

Donald Trump laces into Brian Williams

By KEVIN CIRILLI | 11/7/12 1:54 PM EST
Donald Trump deleted some controversial tweets in wake of President Barack Obama winning reelection but he also lashed out on Wednesday against NBC News anchor Brian Williams for criticizing him.

NBC News anchor Brian Williams slammed Trump on Election Night for his tweeting, saying that Trump had “driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible.”

Trump fired back Twitter:

    Donald J. Trump
✔@realDonaldTrump .@bwilliams knows that I think his newscast has become totally boring so he took a shot at me last night.

Brian, if I’m “well past the last exit to relevance” how come you spent so much time reading my tweets last night? @nbcnightlynews— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 7, 2012

On Tuesday night, Trump’s Twitter tirade blasted the Electoral College and bemoaned the country’s direction. One of the deleted Tweets? “Phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!” Another: “Votes equals a loss… revolution!”

Though the final tally in Florida is still being tallied, currently Obama is winning the popular vote 50 percent to GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s 48 percent with the remainder voting for another candidate.

Trump can't accept that he's a has-been. So he plays this game of creating controversy in the hope of turning the spotlight back on himself.

He doesn't mind nauseating others in this process because for him, negative attention is better than being ignored.

Imagine being married to someone like that! *shudders*

His arrogance is what I dislike. His money and power didn`t create a very nice man

I know Randall , he donates big money to a lot of charities and kudos to him. He can afford it but can he afford to keep making an arse of himself?

This is the part where we applaud Brian Williams for taking a stand against an awful, self-promoting blowhard like Trump, who shouldn't be relevant enough to garner a mention on election night in the middle of a live broadcast. But that's where we are, and it's partially NBC's fault. They are the ones that broadcast Trump into our living rooms in primetime on a weekly basis every year with his stupid and awful reality competition, The Apprentice. They have done so since January 2004, and they plan to do it again in March 2013.

One of the tweets Trump got right was this one:

“Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money.”

It's not completely accurate, but nearly. They got a 1% return on investment by helping Deb Fischer in Nebraska and Dean Heller in Nevada. http://openchannel.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/08/15007504-karl-roves-election-debacle-super-pacs-spending-was-nearly-for-naught?lite

Apparently, soon after the election, Macy's customers (and others) began to put together a petition with 350,000 signatures, asking Macy to fire Trump ... for harassment and his continued attempts to goad the Prez about his credentials.

Trump's response was to tweet that his ties at Macy's are the best holiday gift this season.

I think Trump may be finally quieted, not because of an inner sense of decency, but because of the threat of losing money because of annoyed customers!

Money always trumps with Trump! Hallelujah!!

I just came in GU to post the Dump Trump story

Dump the Trump

Donald Trump is one of the celebrity faces of Macy's. Macy's carries Donald Trump's clothing line as well as his fragrance for men Success. Donald Trump is also featured in advertisements for Macy's. Despite Donald Trump's success with Macy's many people have grown tired of Trump and his outspoken ways. The Dump Trump petition has gained over 476,000 online signatures calling for Macy's to sever ties with Donald Trump. The Dump Trump petition has gotten the attention of many people including celebrities such as Cher.

Donald Trump has reacted to the Dump Trump petition. On his Twitter account he tweeted that his fragrance Success is flying off the shelves at Macy's. He says that his Success fragrance for men makes a perfect Christmas gift. Macy's stands by Donald Trump. http://www.examiner.com/article/donald-trump-reacts-to-macy-s-petition

Glad I beat you to it Juni!!!

But thanks for giving the details.

Right now Macy's will stand by him because it's bringing them publicity. But if starts affecting their bottom line $$ from loss of customers, they may tell Trump to zip it, and dump him if he doesn't (at the end of their contract with him).

Unless of course they're renting the store building from him

Terry Lundgren already said "No." He's not only the Chair/CEO of Macy's but he's also the Chairman of the National Retail Federation. He supports labor unions. No one can accuse him of being a conservative because he's an invite to the President's business roundtable. Anyway, Terry Lundgren and the entire Macy's sr. mgmt. have already said "No." Business is business, even for a Clintonian Democrat from California (he's from LA), and money talks and the rest walks.

Anyway, the Macy's contract is totally inconsequential to Trump, and the entire apparel line doesn't remotely constitute a material fraction of his income or assets.

Some of the Trump merchandise is drummed down overpriced crap anyway. It's no better than house branded merchandise at any other leading department store, sold at a slightly premium price while touting the Trump name. I would bet heavily that Trump doesn't wear Trump apparel because his clothes are tailored by Brioni. Trump would never wear a $50 shirt. His tailored white shirts cost over $400 each.

I bought one Macy's Trump shirt, and I was given one tie and one pair of cufflinks. I regret spending money on that shirt, which had the collar shrink after only two drycleanings. Would have preferred to pay more for considerably better quality at other retail outlets. The cufflinks tarnished lol I don't know how "Success" smells, but it is a competitive market with a lot of substitute brands.

I wished the young lawyers who started that petition had more business sense to know that Trump doesn't give a crap about Macy's, and that it is Macy's that gives a crap about carrying the Trump name. It's just honorable to stand up for what you believe, but at least use common sense and have some resemblance to business reality.

Two years of OWS and attacking the "rich" has pretty much amounted to no tangible results.

It gets others to help each other, which is good. But where has it ever affected or change the "rich" or anyone else in power? Zero impact.

To this day, there are kids camped outside the banks. Its cold and miserable right now in NYC. I don't like kids hanging outside accomplishing anything. I told them they'll get sick for no darn purpose. Yes, there is a reason. There may even be an end goal. There is no path to that accomplishment.

I don't see banks or hedge funds or billionaires changing the way they operate. To the establishment, it's just business as usual.

This story was on Forbes's website and had me laughing--
http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2012/11/19/donald-trumps-vegas-steakhouse-shut-down-for-health-violations/

DONALD TRUMP'S VEGAS STEAKHOUSE SHUT DOWN FOR HEALTH VIOLATIONS--

Maybe “The Donald” should have considered taking some of that $5 million he offered up to embarrass the President and spent it on his Las Vegas steak house.

It is now leaking out that Trump’s Las Vegas based “DTJ” Steak House was shut down for a few hours on November 2nd for what is being reported to be 51 different health violations.

Was this the result of some simple oversights or an Obama led plot to get even with Trump?

Not so much, unless you consider some seriously disgusting discoveries such as there being no measures utilized to destroy parasites in undercooked halibut to be a minor violation— or the presence of expired yogurt or month old caviar in the restaurant’s kitchen to have been planted on site by David Axelrod.

And then there was the duck that dated back to June (yuck), two week old tomato sauce (retch), expired peanut dressing, and an improperly functioning freezer—to name but a few of the violations.

The restaurant closure was first reported by KTNV-TV as a part of their ‘Dirty Dining” segment.

Nice.

While the restaurant is now re-opened, I think it only appropriate we begin the “wretcher movement” (I know that this story has me wretching) and demand that that Trump produce a verifiable certificate from the local Health Department proving that unsuspecting gamblers won’t be eating five month old duck or parasitic halibut should they find their way inside the place.

To that end, I’ll be asking Sherrif Joe Arpaio and a team of private investigators to head out to Vegas at once because…that’s right…I am now a Retcher.

If life is a long lesson in humility, Trump's going to live a very, very long time.
