YEP, I have become inured to each new thing, on and on and on. It is over, Faith. This last election was the tipping point. I just look up to God, now, as the US is no longer a free democracy.

calm down folks, this is not a new development. this from the BLAZE, glenn beck's outlet...

A Democratic congressman on Friday yet again introduced a resolution seeking to repeal the 22nd Amendment, thereby removing the limit on how many terms a president may serve in office.

It’s a regular occurrence for longtime Rep. Jose Serrano (D-N.Y.), who has introduced similar legislation every Congress going back at least through 2001.

now who thinks the mostly republican house is going to vote in favour of this especially while obama is in office?? no one, that's who. nor did anyone pass it when bush was in the white house...

in any case since it is an AMENDMENT, it would need ratification by 3/4ths of the STATES to be established.

personally i think there should either be term limits on EVERYONE in washington, or no one. why is the supreme court a LIFETIME appt for instance? why can congressmen and senators run till they're buried?

and why do we pay these people their full salary for the rest of their lives if they retire? this is the best union in the world!
