We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Our songs are different. They should be in harmony with each other. ~ Mattie Stepanek

Anyone else see this interview?

Jones is a foaming-at-the-mouth Aquarius Tiger with Sag NN.

Predictably he came across as very intelligent and yet over-the-top confrontational.

Howard Stern was a fan of the interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXKq-g3y6WE

Jones doing a British accent, starting around 6:10, is hilarious.

Infotainment at it's best I suppose. My strong Libra really dislikes how the news are about the entertainment over actual news and relevant info (when not outright manipulating for their owners, that is if they want to keep their job) as it sabotages actual exchange and turns it into a circus...silliness is fine and all, but it has its place and also should be stated as such rather than pretending to be having a "debate." But Piers didn't want a rational debate, and I suspect neither did most of his audience (no matter which side of the debate they're on), they wanted exactly what Piers gave them, infotainment leaning a bit Jerry Springer. If Piers wanted a REAL debate he'd have invited John Stossel (or if he was really brave, Gary Kleck). But Piers and the majority of the audience would rather have Foamy the Squirrel than anything that would make them think (though I wonder if I don't compliment many they have as Foamy is superior in both lucidity and entertainment value when compared to many professional ranters), but want to pretend it's all about being informed than about being entertained.

At least Howard Stern seems aware of that, unlike most who enjoyed it.

I still can't figure out if Jones did that deliberately for shock value or if that's his real personality and he just can't contain it.

Maybe a little of both.

He freaks out all the time on his show which is why I only rarely pay attention to him. I prefer people like John Pilger (Australian socialist who happens to be a great critic of US policy) who keeps a level head when talking about all kinds of rotten stuff, and when talking to rotten people. Pilger happens to be a Libra as well.

Trailer for Pilger's The War You Don't See.
