Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. But Janek did not produce photographic evidence of the shackles and guillotines inside the alleged prisoner boxcars. That evidence would certainly be useful.

For us to believe — and spread — Janek’s sensational claims would play right into our political opponents’ cartoon depiction of conservatives as looney-tune nutcases. Don’t fall for it!

but whether or not these things exist, i still see no one doing anything to aid the people who are already being killed off, deprived of their homes, imprisoned for minor offenses...

somehow it seems a little off to me to be sitting around worrying about so far imaginary armegeddon while being complacent about the genocide and marginalization of whole groups of people right NOW.

(THAT is reminiscent of germany in the 30s, people turning a blind eye to others' REAL persecution while trembling about the possibilities ahead.)

This does NOT support Ami Annes post in any way. A good notion for these caskets are poverty. Poor people die and require burial. They expected the "flu" epidemic and hurricanes to take many out more than it did so.......

Supporting Obama, being a non Christian, and being logical does not indicate low information or ignorance in any way shape or form. To indicate that it is, shows how narrow the tunnel is that the person is peeking down while bemoaning ignorance.

I haven't managed to look into FEMA too much, since I found that most of the links I was pulling up on the potential dangers of an out-of-control FEMA were not credible.

I am gullible, but after jumping to the wrong conclusions so many times, and feeling like a fool afterwards, I try very hard now to verify information and know what I'm talking about. As you do.

Like you, I mixed in with Patriots/survivalists before, and ultimately realized that these people can be deluded rather easily, reinforcing disinformation amongst themselves. When I came to different conclusions based on independent research...for instance I believe a plane DID hit the Pentagon (!!!) LOL...I was ridiculed over and over.

So I am not much of a "joiner" with any kind of political group.

As I haven't done much research with FEMA, I can't dismiss it too readily, but I agree with this:
