I do understand your problems with a couple of our statements in the fall -- but feel on the other hand that you focus on a few specific trees that gives a very wrong perception of the forest. But perhaps we will just not see eye to eye here. But I do truly believe you should rethink your comment about saying saying that Potus asking for revenues is moving the goal post. I know you may not believe this, but as a friend, I think you will regret staking out that claim ... My apologies again for raising my voice on the call with you. Feel bad about that and truly apologize. Woodward, who would later profess to be unnerved by Sperling's email, replied very calmly: Gene: You do not ever have to apologize to me. You get wound up because you are making your points and you believe them. This is all part of a serious discussion. I for one welcome a little heat; there should more given the importance. Yes ami when will you wake up? Woodward was obviously not threatened, but ignore mbird's post..It seems woodward has the wrong end of the stick this time and suggesting he might regret writing in hsste could be seen as someone looking out for his reputation as a smart guy...but i don't expect you to believe me. I expect you will one day regret your vendetta but that is not a threat, just my opinion that you really think you are doing the right thing ondulging in all this hatred and IP: Logged |

Did you read m-bird's post? Even woodward saw past the angle you are getting stuck on. Woodward likely WILL regret it, but not because anyone is going to punish him. If i said to you, you will regret sticking your finger in that meatgrinder, is that a threat or kindly advice?IP: Logged |

If obama did what woodward in his great wisdom as a bystander suggested, THAT would be breaking the law and impeachable. True bush would've gone right behind congress back and borrowed money - in fact he did - and that is why we owe the farm to china now...but hey, what's a little legality in washington? Another guy came out against Obama, too. He is an editor of a paper. I have to get his article. People are seeing this horrible man, Obama. for who he is. All illusions have a shelf life  ------------------

My observation of US Politics since 2003:
The more a leader is hated, the more he wins.
Dubya was cheered for socking it to Taliban but detested for the Iraq invasion built on lies of non-existent WMD. Hatred increased in 2004-2005 but Dubya won comfortably for his 2nd Term.In 2008, Obama chose not to focus on hating Dubya and went for positive talk of "Yes We Can". He won.
And for the next 4 years, hatred from right wing forces increased exponentially till they started believing their lies so much that Mitt Romney did not even prepare a speech in case of defeat. Intelligent men like our own knowflake JWHop were giving 320+ seats to Republicans. And who wins? Obama wins. The loop of hatred/negativity is starting again. Obama will not stand for 2016 but each and every one of his goals, good or bad, will be fulfilled thanks to the negative energy directed at him personally by tens of millions of right wing thinkers. If Democrats are to lose 2016, then someone like Bobby Jindal has to do an Obama of 2008 with positive slogans and positive messages. Bobby Jindal, Chris Christie and Chuck Hagel seem to be the only Republican men with Presiential Ambition who have an intelligence quotient over 130. Chris Christie is firmly behind Obama after Sandy, Chuck Hagel has been poached by the "super hated" Obama, yet another victory for him. So its up to Jindal now to show a better Path to Republicans than rabid hatred of one individual.
