Yes, and it was intended as a question. Why don't you read the letter? I really wanted to know why you didn't read it.

Who are you to say how I feel? What are you even talking about?

We often fall into these pointless squabbles, so what should I have said about our dynamic? That it's peaceful?

I don't recall ever insulting you. I also prefer to stick with the topic and not get into any personal jabs. If you were insulted by my question, I guess there is nothing I can do in hindsight. I would "take it back" but I honestly still think you misrepresented the contents of the letter you posted, and don't know why you did so, thus the question lingers for me.

But the answer to whether the President has the authority to drone stroke civilians is no.

In other words unless an sct of war like 9/11 is about to take place he has no such authority. Basically whst has changed? The way the question was framed ...

I thought we all knew that America was declared a battlefield with the 2011 NDAA. No?

So, since we are currently at war, the question is immediately applicable to current circumstances: does the President have this authority? Yes or no.

You may think that is too black and white but usually, that's the way the law works: it's either legal or illegal and not "kind of legal."

As i said my phone makes complexity difficult. Not wanting to keep thinking up different ways of repeating myself, i will

State that if i posted something without reading it carefully, i always SAY SO, but that is very rare. Since i also commented on the contents i hardly think your question was genuine, but i am willing to drop it because it really is getting repetitious.

It was precisely your comment on the contents that elicited my genuine question, as I've explained ad nauseum. If you had read what Holder said, I don't see how you could reach the conclusion that Rand's concerns and further questions were unwarranted, disingenuous, kabuki theater.
