but hey, he's black, maybe he can follow in big O's footsteps better than romney types.

It takes a really, really tall leader to allow unrestrained criticism from a guest, a guest who did not allow the host to defend himself as he went on for 30 minutes.

Yet again, Obama earns tons of good leadership karmas to race ahead, while his detractors readily accept his burdens.

It would have been ethical had Dr Carson propogated his conservative views in public since 2004, he is far older than Obama. It would have been great had Dr Carson joined the Republicans and stood for elections prior to Obama's rise.

The fact that he is taken seriously is because Obama made America and the entire World take African American people seriously.
Obama showed the world that a Black Man can become an elected President. Not Dr Carson.

It is not too late for ethical behavior, it would be great to see Dr Carson take on Rubio and Bobby Jindal for the top post in 2016. I favor Jindal, he is ethical in leadership matters. But I would love to see karmic theories proven right again and again. Dr Carson will never become a President, even though he has done Angelic service and is brilliant. He is designed to be a perfect Christian, maybe he will become a Black Pope in his next incarnation as his karmic reward.

Leadership has a different set of ethics.

Winston Churchill was a scoundrel but an amazing leader. If Britain had a Dr Carson as their PM during WW2, Hitler would have finished off Britain in 1940 itself....

Horses for Courses.

Yes to all iQ except regarding Jindal as a player.

Until Jindal refuses to offer up more than tired clichés few will support him.

His weakness are his strengths, as most GOP hopefuls are.

Carson, another recipient of affirmative action, and another conservative who pretends otherwise...

The republicans seem to think that copying the success of one black man with attempting a reprise with another somehow makes them non-racist...they are all interchangeable apparently

Ben Carson did everything on his own, unlike someone else we know. He is the American dream, not the American scheme as the Big O is

Unless he got his medical degree thru homeschooling no, he did not do everything on his own. His age puts him in school at the time when affirmative action was in operation. A great many black college grads owe the opportunity fo social pressures. Including Clarence Thomas,Condy Rice, and other conservatives.

Clarence Thomas's interracial marriage would have been illegal a few decades ago.

But it doesn't mean they didn't have to do the work, in obama's OR carson's case. It would just be nice to see some acknowledge ment that without government intervention many fewer blacks would be where they are today.

then there is the fact that his "mother worked 18 hour days" while his brother and he were growing up...were they looking after themselves or was there some help from human resources childcare wing?

and the healthcare benefits brought up in this article as well.

yep he sure did it on his own. in an era totally lacking in govt aid to the poor and minorities.

inverted racism is a strange beast. http://egbertowillies.com/2013/03/17/blacks-voted-for-obama-because-he-is-black-to-be-dispelled-by-a-ben-carson-run-video/

If Obama taught us anything as Americans, it is NOT to vote on color.

Yes, Ben Carson is the American dream. Obama is an idiot about anything common sense. He is like the old time hippies who GREW UP, but he didn't because he didn't have to. He was handed everything. I don't care, unless he was ruining the US but there is nothing anyone can do now, unless a few good people stand up, such as a Rand Paul, Ben Carson etc

Color doesn't mean @#@#. I think we all know that now

Bur it means a great deal to a lot of people. Affirmative action can get one INTO schools, but those who don't perform are ejected. Free rides are for those who can BUY them. Like the rockefellers etc..Keep listening to rush, though, if it floats your boat. In the end your fear is your problem , unwarranted but hey what's life without some victim-drama?

You SAY colour is irrelevant, but you believe it is the only reason obama got elected TWICE? Sorry, but that cancels out the first statement.

Carson may be a brilliant doctor but no, he didn't do it all by himself and i don't see him making any sensible suggestions.

But i think the game is almost run. The world as we know it is, thankfully, almost over.

Dr carson apparently equates homosexuality sith sexual perversions like bestiality pedophilia and necrophilia...very enlightened

And has called White Liberals the most racist people in the world who want him to get back to the plantation? Who does he think opened the doors to his education?

Yes in some ways he is the american dream but it was liberal white legislators who forced equal educstion rights down the conservatives throats.

And yes, racism still exists, on all sides. Going back to pre-civil rights laws is not going to solve that.

I am going to be straight out honest with you. Do you mean the white man is going to get it for what he did to the black man?

Strange question ami! I don't suffer from any such paranoia i assure you. I merely meant we are in a period of major transition...and things will be different when they settle back down.

What have i ever said that would suggest that ? I have faith, too, you know; just because i don't believe what you do doesn't make me the devil...even if you believe it.

And i don't see karma as acting in racial blocks, anymore than people vote by the colour af the candidates.
