Perhaps you should read the article and not just the headline/soundbite. They left most of what he said for the more determined readers!
http://blog.heritage.org/2013/04/18/dem-senator-obamacare-a-train-wreck-coming/ I am very concerned that not enough is being done so far—very concerned. When I’m home, small businesses have no idea what to do, what to expect, they don’t know what affordability rules are, they don’t know what penalties may apply…
A lot of people have no idea about all of this.… I just see a huge train wreck coming down, and you and I have discussed this many times and I don’t see any results yet. (Emphasis added.)
do you see what they do here? they include the facts but ADD EMPHASIS to the part they want you to pay attention to, both in the headline and the text of the quote...and the whole article basically ignores what he actually said.
talk about malignant narcisissm, this very cleverly clears them of accusations of LYING, while conveying a distortion which amounts to ... a lie!
and they know that most of their readers will not even notice that it is the IMPLEMENTATION of the law baucus sees as a mess.
all the while ignoring the fact that congress, instead of doing what they can to make the law workable and understandable, spend hours on hours pretending to "repeal" it when they KNOW it's not going away.
yes the law is very flawed. it was meant to be a starting point but as it is being approached, it is just the elephant in the house.
