Glenn Beck, while delivering his keynote address at the National Rifle Association's annual convention in Texas on Saturday, displayed an image of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is Jewish, wearing an armband while giving what appeared to be a Nazi salute.

Using the imagery as a backdrop, Beck went on to criticize Bloomberg for what some have described as his "nanny-state" policies, limiting the size of sugary drinks, salt intake, curbing tobacco displays and gun-control campaign that stretches far beyond New York City..

"We all know 'I heart New York'" Beck told the NRA audience as he unveiled the image of Bloomberg giving an open handed salute. "I'd like to show you my new advertisement for it, new slogan... 'You will love New York!'"

The comparison sparked immediately outrage from Jewish groups, which argued such Nazi comparisons trivialized the atrocities committed by Hitler and his regime.

"Glenn Beck, the keynote speaker at the NRA's annual convention, trivializes the Holocaust when he compares New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to Adolf Hitler," the worldwide Jewish community service organization B'nai B'rith told ABC News.

"The casual use of Nazi imagery or words serves to undermine the atrocities of the Holocaust. Glenn Beck should apologize," the organization added.

Holocaust survivor and national director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, also objected to the Beck's image of Bloomberg.

"While he doesn't say it, it seems Glenn Beck is implying through an image of Mayor Bloomberg in an apparent Hitlerian salute is that the mayor's policies on gun ownership and other issues are turning New York city into a Nazi-like state," Foxman said. "That suggestion is outrageous, insensitive and deeply offensive on so many levels."

Although anti semite often relates to hatred against jews it is does not mean other religions are not part of that group....it was used more in the past than it was today and now mostly is used against jew haters mostly.

Bloomberg is a mayor who happens to be Jewish. Also he happens to foolish (IMHO)believing he can rule a cities health and protect people from them selves. Being Jewish and foolish don`t necessarily go hand in hand BUT Beck tried to tie the two together and come up with an uglier scenerio, a Hitler state.

If the B'nai B'rith and the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman is outraged and sees anti semitism in Becks statements, who am I to argue it.

I have nothing to lose as I see Beck for what he is. A hired gun who revels in drama and fearmongering .

Where is his expose on the Saudi now??

1. Little dumb comments such as Trumps and this mean nothing
2. Virulent Anti-Semitism such as resulted in the Holocaust is what is of concern.
3. Dumb statements made by ignorance or a poor excuse at humor is NOTHING
4. Real Anti-Semitism wants to literally destroy Israel, which is a cover for destroying the Jews, as once their homeland goes, they will be in the same position as pre Nazi Germany
5. Real Anti-Semites won't understand Israel's history even if it is shown in black and white. They still want to destroy her. These are the virulent Anti-Semites. The rest is just stupid nothings.
5. People who are truly Anti-Semitic are all over the stupid nothings and want to act as if they don't have the real deal which is a black heart of Anti-Semitism.
6. Again, as in Nazi Germany, it took the good people to be silent. If not, Hitler could not have done it. It took the good people to turn a blind eye. Now, is the time to stand up to the real Anti Semitism, if you want. If not, don't get off track on dumb things like Trump and Beck.

PS Also, no one can love Israel without a touch from God. It is God touching man's heart. If people hate Israel, it is a spiritual blindness and only God can remove it. That is why intellectual arguments touch nothing in the heart of the TRUE Anti Semite. It is sad but it is between them and God. I would not want to answer to God for being an Anti-Semite.

I have shown people how Israel was born and has the rights to her land which was given from England after WW 2.

I have shown people how small she is in the face of her enemies who have huge, huge, huge land masses in the face of her teeny land, the size of New Jersey,but people still think she is the problem.

This can't be talked out or reasoned out. I pity these people because they will answer for it, as Genesis says.
