That's just a convenient way of framing an idea. The truth of the matter is far more complex. The country has been continuously evolving since its inception. You can't point to two decades in the last hundred or more years that resemble each other. Even Conservative values of yesterday created some of the things Conservatives lament today. IP: Logged |

No, the grandparents were right. Values are everything. Obama has no character. His word means nothing. He has no core values or if he has any, it is hatred of the US and all it stands for. Character matters. It is really everything!

I wish my grandmother was around. What the grandparents said was right. People were respected for character. It mattered. You can tell when someone has character like Randall does. Do you listen to yourself?You believe it's possible for a person to have no character? To be devoid of any good intent? To be devoid of "core values"? Even criminals have core values. A hatred of the U.S. drove a person to run for the office of President? And then drove that same person to try to reform healthcare in hopes of stemming the rising tide of medical costs? That's all ridiculous. It conveys an utter non-understanding of human nature. Obama's core values are to rob from the rich and give to the poor BUT he wants to be the rich as all phoney Liberals do. Socialists have values for the poor but they don't want to be one of them.

I want to ask you something in all seriousness.
From what I can tell of you, you have good values. If you have children, you would instill these in them. How can you allow Obama to get away with lie after lie and not hold him to the same standard you hold yourself. I respect you, AG. We differ but you are a good person and not a blind hater.
